Good luck to all our Hillies boys who have earned selection in representative teams from U12s through to U18s competing across New South Wales this June Long Weekend.

From Dubbo, Mudgee, Orange, the Central Coast and Sydney, our players will proudly pull on their representative jerseys and show the values, commitment and spirit that make our club so special.

To all the players and families making the trip, enjoy every moment. These are the memories you’ll look back on for years to come.

Hunters Hill Juniors - Canteen Coordinator Wanted

Home is where the belly is… and with our fantastic clubhouse and facilities, we want our canteen to be the talk of the clubs this season.

Hunters Hill Juniors Rugby is looking for a passionate and organised Canteen Coordinator to help manage our junior canteen operations across the rugby season.

This role supports all junior home match days, mainly consisting of some Friday night games and Sunday game days throughout the season.

We are looking for someone who:

* Is highly organised and proactive
* Loves creating policies and procedures
* Has strong communication skills
* Can confidently delegate tasks and manage volunteers
* Enjoys being part of a community-focused sporting club

Key Duties Include:

* Managing and ordering all canteen stock
* Stock management and stocktaking
* Rostering volunteers for game days
* Coordinating paid workers and volunteers
* Helping ensure smooth game-day operations

Role Details:

* Approx. 4–5 hours per week
* Volunteer role, however payment may be considered for the right candidate

🖤🤍 WEEKLY WRAP UP 🖤🤍

What a weekend of rugby!

Friday night minis were back at St Luke’s for the Inner West Comp, and while the rain fell and the temperatures dropped, our little Hillies showed exactly what they’re made of. Tough, determined and smiling through it all. 🌧️💪

A special shout-out to our U11s who braved the cold under lights and put on a cracking display of rugby.

Sunday, Boronia Park was pumping, the smell of burgers, bacon and sausage sizzle in the air! The day brought another action-packed day with teams playing both at home and away. There were wins, there were losses, but one thing remained consistent — our Hillies stood proud, played hard and represented our club with great spirit. 🏉

The afternoon wrapped up with the Norths 4-Way Gala, where the true spirit of rugby was on full display. The sportsmanship shown by our players, coaches and families was something to be proud of and is a great reminder of what makes our club so special.

A huge thank you to all the opposing teams, referees, first aid volunteers, coaches, managers, canteen volunteers, parents and supporters who make every round possible.

And of course, thank you to our amazing sponsors whose support allows our community club to continue to thrive.

🖤🤍 NATIONAL VOLUNTEERS WEEK 🤍🖤

Last week was National Volunteers Week (18–24 May) and wow… if the last 2 weekends at our Juniors proved anything, it’s that volunteers absolutely do exist, and we are lucky enough to have a whole community of them at Hillies. 🤍🖤

From our Juniors President, committee, coaches, managers and referees, to first aid, the canteen crew, the BBQ legends and every parent or supporter who quietly steps up behind the scenes… thank you. 🙌

This club would not — and could not — survive without you all.

This photo is just one small snapshot of what happens every single weekend at our club. Four incredible young volunteers, two awesome girls volunteering for their school and two of our hard working Hillies boys, spending hours behind the canteen counter, knee deep in burgers, sausages, salad prep, disposable gloves and laughter. Smiles on their faces the entire time.

Yes Jamie… we may have gone through half a box of gloves 😂 but it perfectly sums up the spirit of our community.

More than just rugby, we are a community. And our volunteers are the heartbeat of it ♥️

🖤🤍 WEEKLY WRAP UP 🤍🖤

What a weekend for Hillies rugby 🏉

From Friday night lights at Boronia Park to games being played across Sydney on Sunday, our Hillies community showed up in full force.

Friday night minis were BACK — and wow, was it good to be home hosting our Inner West comp again. Cool night air, toasted marshmallows by the fire, a buzzing canteen and bar, and kids running around under lights… this is what junior rugby is all about. Boronia Park just hits differently on a Friday night.

Sunday saw plenty of home games and our Hillies teams turned out strong. The canteen was pumping, the BBQ was firing, the smell of bacon and egg rolls filled the air, and volunteers worked tirelessly behind the scenes all day long.

A few age groups are missing from these pics, but win lose or draw, weekends like this remind us why community sport matters so much.

A huge thank you to all opposing teams, referees, First Aid, canteen volunteers, coaches, managers, parents, friends and family who helped make the weekend such a success.

And of course, a massive shoutout to our incredible sponsors who support our club throughout the season and allow us to do what we do year after year ✨🙌

A little Mother’s Day appreciation post from last weekend 🌸

Sideline celebrations were happening all around Sydney as mums, nanas, step mums, aunties and carers showed up in full force to cheer on our Hillies kids. 🥂✨

The sun was shining, the fields were buzzing, and the sidelines were packed with the people who do so much behind the scenes week in, week out. ☀️🌟

From early mornings and muddy jerseys to loud cheering and post-game snacks… thank you for everything you do for our kids and our club.
