Over the past few weeks the club has held both its AGM & AAGM. One of the main objectives of these meetings is to put in place a committee for the upcoming season, unfortunately as it stands none of of the Executive positions have been filled. As the deadline for affiliation for the CDCA approaches, unless an Executive Committee is in place the LCC Cricket Club will not be able to continue into season 2022/23.

Notice is hereby given for the 2022/23 AGM of the Liverpool Catholic Club 'Lions' Cricket Club.

*** All positions will be declared vacant ***
The AGM is a great opportunity for you to become more involved in the running of 'your' cricket club and help conduct the 'behind the scenes' business, on behalf of this sporting organization, players and its members.

Any member >18 years or older can apply:
Executive Committee consists of:
- President *
- Treasurer *
- Secretary *
- Senior Vice President
- Junior Vice President
- Exec member #1
- Exec member #2

Office Bearer roles:
- Records Officer *
- Publicity Officer
- Equipment Officer
- Intra-Club Delegate
- Affiliation Delegate(s)
- Child Safety Officer

* these roles must be filled as a minimum for the club to be reformed. One person cannot undertake more than one Executive role, but they can also nominate themselves for an Office Bearer role(s).

As per the Club Constitution, any nominations for positions on the Executive or Office Bearers must be received by the secretary in writing, with preference being via email [email protected]

Your nomination should be submitted ASAP, but at least one week prior to the AGM (by 2nd June).

XGolf Macarthur proved to be something a little different for this years end of season presentation. A fun day and night had by all!

The rain played havoc with some of the end of season stats but congratulations to all the winners below:

And with that the 2021/22 Season comes to a close for us, unfortunately not the end we were after but in a season so impacted by weather it almost is only fitting that weather is what ends the year. Details on the presentation to come soon

Unfortunately this brings to a close a very wet regular season. However a 3rd place finish and semi final awaits next weekend.

A decisive win by the team on Saturday. Bowling out Bradbury for 48 and chasing the total with only losing two wickets. With this win, we have secured our place in the finals!

No man of the match but a great effort from Mitch, who took 2/5 from his 6 overs. Damo, who took 3/5 from his 5.2 overs and also Drew, who took 2/13 from his 5 overs. Lastly, Pete made a very quick 18 and got the run chase off to a flying start.

Round 13 completed and a great win vs Bradbury. The win books our finals spot with a likely 3rd place finish to the season. Just 1 game of the regular season remaining vs The Oaks next Saturday.

Rain the only winner in Round 12, however still a solid effort again with the ball and in the field to restrict Camden to 96.

Unfortunately couldn’t get a full days play in today. But the team managed to restrict Camden to 9/96. Special mentions to Taylor, who took 1/8 off 7 overs. Hamaial who took 3/24 from his 7 overs. Our player of the match was Mitchell, who took 2/14 of his 7 overs a catch and runout.

Just 3 games to go in the regular season! Round 11 was a low scoring contest with Cobbitty Narellan, but great to come away from it with the win!

Great win in a close low scoring game vs Cobbitty Narellan today. A fantastic bowling effort with wickets shared around, but for his 27 holding the chase together, Dylan is the man of the match!
