In our ⭐Coach and Manager Spotlight⭐ series, we will be highlighting the people who truly make LCRFC tick. Without these exceptional and giving volunteers, our kids wouldn't get to play every weekend - we are incredibly thankful and grateful for your time.

To 'kick us off' we have ⭐Coach Matteo from our U18/2⭐

What surprised you most about being a coach/manager?
The ability to make a group of teenagers to play as a team, respecting and helping each other.

What keeps you showing up every week?
My commitment and passion to improve my team’s cohesion and general skill growth.

What's a moment from this/last season you'll remember?
I will remember the happiness and proudness of winning the Gran Finale two years ago, and in the same way, the sadness of loosing the Gran Finale last year.
What's something you've learnt since becoming a coach/manager?
My calm required to manage a group of teenagers. Not always easy 😂
