A free, weekly, timed 5km walk/jog/run at 9am every Saturday. Open to all ages and abilities. Meet us at Bellerive Beach Park!

Reaching a 400th parkrun is a massive milestone! While not an official t-shirt tier like the 250 or 500 clubs, it is a phenomenal achievement representing 2,000 kilometers of running, walking or volunteering.

Do you want to start the weekend off in the most enjoyable way?!?
'How?' I hear you ask . . . . Well, volunteering with our awesome crew at Bellerive parkrun not only puts a smile on your face, but on the faces of all of our participants!

We need two more volunteers before our event can go ahead this weekend - a bluff marshal and a halfway marshal.

Bellerive parkrun Event number 398
23rd May 2026

This week 285 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 26 were first timers and 48 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 11 different clubs took part.

We had visitors from other Tasmanian parkruns and Paul from Ipswich also joined us.

We celebrated (discreetly) the following milestones
🟣 David IKIN, Kath COOK and Valery KULLRICH with 25 runs
⚫ Glen PERRIN with 100 runs

If you would like a photo with one of the milestone posters, speak to your next Run Director and let them know that you missed a photo this week, and they will be happy to help out.

Everything is set for a chilly, but fun start to your weekend with Bellerive parkrun.

First timers and visitors welcome/briefing at 8:50, main briefing at 8:55 ahead of a 9:00 start.

Please remember your barcode, to keep children under 11 within arms reach, dogs on a short hand held leash, good vibes and to keep left at all times.

It's National Volunteer Week, and we need a few volunteers to be hi-vis heroes to make sure we can have our usual Saturday morning dose of parkrun.

We need
Timekeeper - Filled
Finish Tokens
Barcode Scanner or two (a sub 25 minute runner could also help)
A bluff marshal
park walker - Filled

Big BIG thanks to the amazing volunteer crew who made Bellerive parkrun happen today - Colin, Katherine, Sophia, Frank, Will, Bonnie, Carol, Paul, Kylie, Teresa, Justin, Graham, Charlie, Margaret, Kelly, Nooa, Guifre, Rhonda, Wynne and Linda!!!

Congrats to the 285 amazing people who walked and ran the course today. We had lots of first timers and visitors from near and far. Thanks for joining us 🙌

Well done to Nick on his 200 unofficial milestone and to our anonymous 100 milestone (you didn't come up for a pic)! Happy birthday to the balloon crowd celebrating the big 21! And thanks everyone for joining me for my 250 volunteer milestone. I am so happy to have Bellerive parkrun as part of my life. What a community we have ❤️
