Dynamic Cricket Worx - Tasmania

Dynamic Cricket Worx - Tasmania Dynamic Cricket Worx provides quality cricket bats, repairs and accessories at affordable prices.

Dynamic Cricket Worx (DCW) is located in the greater Hobart area. It all started by doing a few bat repairs and perfecting our very popular Bat Butter. With gradual growth DCW now has a steady clientele for our cricket bat services and we are seeing our products out there being used. DCW has developed relationships with a few select international suppliers who are able to supply quality products d

irectly to us, which means we can pass on great products at affordable prices to our customers. We don't hide the fact that all of our cricket bats start their life in India, but we are proud of the fact most are finished right here in Tasmania. In most cases our bats can be modified to suit the exact requirements of the player and if we don't have what you want, we can get it. The beauty of the way we operate is that the bats we advertise are the bats you will receive. We ship our products Australia wide, and can arrange Express Shipping where required. Not only are our bats well priced, we also supply premium quality accessories such as grips, anti-scuff sheets and bat care products at great prices. If you are interested in any of our products we can be contacted via Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp or an old fashioned phone call. We look forward to hearing from you, cheers, Dave, Dymanic Cricket Worx, TAS.

It was a busy finish to the outdoor season with re-handles, re-furbs and repairs to many many cricket bats. If you have a good quality piece of willow that is in need of repair, love, or a new lease of life, don't commit the crime of letting it rot in the shed. We provide high level repairs to restore your beloved run maker. Beat the pre-season rush and get your bats tidied up in the next few months.

Thank you, David Shead, for all your hard work and passion you have given the cricket community over the last few years and for developing DCworx into a robust and quality small business. It is our pleasure to take it over and carry on the excellence in workmanship you have built DCworx on. Reuben and I wish you all the best in your future endeavours and health!

These are our first four refurbished bats to go out the door. The customer wanted a bat face repaired, a handle replaced, resin toes, binding and clean faces. To add to the stickers striping off and bats polished.

Thanks again David for working closely with us to ensure we hit the ground running. And thank you, to our customers, for your patience as we settle in to the new role.

**End Of An Era – A New Beginning For DCW** Well the time has come for me pass the torch, and while it has been very hard decision, it is the right one for me, for Dynamic Cricket Worx, and for the cricket community.

As some of you are aware I have been juggling the demand of DCW with full-time work and some fairly serious health concerns. I absolutely love what DCW has brought to me and it has evolved into something that is far beyond anything I could have anticipated. You ‘the loyal customers’ have definitely kept me going. I have taken pride in my work and developed skills that have seen you return time-and-time again. I will miss the workshop chats and friendships that came from something as grounded as repairing cricket bats. I genuinely thank you all for this.

I would also like to briefly mention that DCW has also brought me into contact with like-minded people across Australia passionately servicing the cricket community repairing cricket bats. Friendships that will never be forgotten and people that the cricket community rely upon – Thanks fellas, you know who you are.

All that being said DCW is here to stay, and I would like to welcome Loucas Stott as the new owner/operator of DCW. Loucas and his family are passionate about cricket, the cricket community and the art of repairing cricket bats. Loucas and his son Reuben are in a great position to take DCW to the next level and already hold significant skills in the repairing and manufacturing of cricket bats.

While I can't elaborate on their business plans it would be safe to say that once they have their feet on the ground, they have a lot to offer.

Loucas formally takes the reins today and we will be working together to ensure the ‘DCW way’ (oh yes I have a DCW way) is maintained. With a trade background Loucas will add his personal touches which makes me confident the ‘DCW way’ is in great hands.

Contact methods via Facebook will not change, and Loucas’s phone number will be on the DCW page. Please get around Loucas and his family for your bat repairs and support this local small business.

Thank you all so much, and welcome Loucas and family.

Over and out – Dave!!

I hate waste! This junior Adidas Incurza now makes for a great keeper training bat. It was an old school profile (not popular in the modern world of big bats) and had been chewed on by someone’s four legged mate. Well it’s been repurposed and has found a home in a young players training kit, avoiding the scrap heap.

Mallet #06 is off to sunny Darwin NT this week. Made from the same cut of NSW River Red Gum as Mallet #03, it will be paired up in the same workshop with Peter from BatnRod, Darwin. Peter is a long-time customer and friend. He purchased Mallet #03 back in early August and has been pretty happy with it, so much so he has now purchased #06, a trusty ball mallet.

Doing something a bit different with this mallet, I fitted the Tas Oak (handle) to the Red Gum (block) before any turning took place. This resulted in a nice clean transition from the handle to the mallet head when the two were turned together. It did make it a bit tricky when it came to laser engraving the top and there is now a hole in my laser table 😎. None-the-less the finish is on point and I'm happy with the outcome.

Peter does some great work up in Darwin so if you have any bats (or fishing rods) needing some TLC and you are up in the tropical (sweaty) part of the country flick me a message and I will hook you up.

Also a big shout out to Jim at Pop's Shed who has been extremely helpful while I learn more about Australian hardwoods. Jim has been able to supply some beautiful pieces of timber fit for purpose.

Now to get some bats done. I've had a few build up as I've needed some time out of the workshop recently, thanks for your patience everyone and here's to cricket season 🙂💪

SOLD **For Sale** There is something about an old school set of Reebok stickers that I just can't look past. I have had this set of Reebok stickers waiting for a donor bat for quite some time. The donor on this occasion is a girthy and reliable Gray-Nicolls which weighs in at a perfect 2lb 8oz (1135gr) as seen in pictures. The mid-profile gives this one a great pickup and it sounds very nice under the mallet. This bat has had very little use and will not disapoint, especially if you are looking for something with a different vibe to it.

Specs are -
Blade width: 108mm
Spine height: 62mm
Edges: 40mm
Weight: perfect 2lb 8oz

Face and toe protection have been applied and it's ready for immediate use.

Price: $295 ONO

Can be posted Australia wide.

SOLD **For Sale** Genuine Gray Nicolls E41 Scoop (massive bat) - Stepping back into the workshop this week I have managed to get this 'big and beautiful' Australian made Gray Nicolls E41 Scoop finished. Having had very little use, it still has the original toe guard. Perfect pickup at just 2lb 7.7oz (1127gr), 66mm spine, 42mm edges and full 108mm wide blade. Ping is on point and 12+ grains is easy on the eye. Handle semi-oval and a GN traction grip has been fitted. A full inspection and refurbishment has been completed and it has been finished with E41 1000LE decals. It looks the goods and won't disappoint. Can be inspected here in the workshop by appointment or can be shipped at buyers expense.
