We take a moment to reflect on the strength, resilience, and ongoing impacts experienced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, particularly the Stolen Generations and their families.

As a Territory-based organisation, we remain committed to listening, learning, and continuing to build culturally safe, respectful, and trauma-informed approaches within our work and community engagements.

💖 Today, we celebrate all mothers, carers, and the remarkable women who nurture, guide, protect, and love others with strength and compassion.

💖 We honour mums raising children, grandmothers, aunties, foster carers, stepmums, and all those who take on the role of caring for others.

💖 We also hold space for those who are separated from their children, and those who carry the pain of loss.

Mother’s Day can bring both joy and heartache.

💖 Wherever you are today, and whatever your story may be, we acknowledge your love, your resilience, and the difference you make.

💖 Happy Mother’s Day to all who care with an open heart.

Rest in peace, Kumanjayi Little Baby.

The loss of a young life like this is hard to put into words. It makes no sense.

Our thoughts are with all who knew and loved her.

To everyone who stood alongside the search, your efforts mattered. It showed the strength of community and the care that exists across the Territory.

We hope for accountability and justice.

Rest easy, little one.

Clear, responsible guidance around OC spray — including legal considerations, safe handling, and when (and when not) it may be appropriate as a personal safety option.
