G'day everyone.

The After Party is set to kick off at 5pm with short film premiere of Oh My Days + Crickets on loop in the Bird Cafe for you viewing pleasure. Be sure to watch the hails, bails and shenanigans of these epic 10 minute films.

Mother Nature's low tide snowfall has cancelled the iconic Gun Barrel banked slalom. Vail are putting on a Snowboarder Cross up on the Roadie, a non Hotham Boardriders sponsored event. You have until midday Thursday to enter.

The Banked Slalom Event in the Gun Barrel is cancelled due to lack of snow and the weather forecast for next Friday. Vail made the call late yesterday, and we wanted to let you know asap.

Hi Boardriders!

Quick update for next Friday the 21st.
We have been in discussion with the Vail Events Team around weather and snow conditions for the Banked Slalom. We will let everyone know the plan as soon as we hear more.

Regardless, we are pumped to announce:

It is with heavy hearts that we inform you, that the Hotham Boardriders Club will not operate in 2026. Since mid-last year, the Volunteer Committee have been working behind the scenes to secure use of the Clubs name and future. We have hit a roadblock in reaching a solution - therefore the Club will not be launching memberships, selling merchandise or communicating through the Hotham Boardriders social channels.

The Banked Slalom Event, sponsored by Lib Tech, Quiksilver, Yeti, Pow Gloves, Le bent and Wolf of the Willows, will run on Friday the 21st of August. With Mother Nature delivering the goods, the annual event will be back in the Gun Barrel. Presentations and after party at the Bird, keep an eye on the Vail events site for details. We are thankful for Vails continued support.

The shared stoke of snowboarding will forever be part of our community.

See you on the hill.

The 2026 Gun Barrel Banked Slalom date has been changed to Friday the 21st of August. The lift co and Vail events department, made the date edit and confirmation yesterday, sighting the outcome will support the broader winter calendar of events. We wanted to give you the heads up straight away.

More details to come. Pray for snow!
