Tonight we have made the difficult decision to close for the season. Unfortunately we never got cracking and where we go, there is no snowmaking. This is the first time in history we have been unable to operate.
We need a good 50cm and after tonight we cant see that coming.

We will be contacting everyone who booked over the next week and provide full refunds.

Bookings will be closed off for the season tomorrow.

It's pretty heart breaking but it is what it is.

Hello folks, been awhile since drinks!

As you will probably know, snow is a little limited this season thus far. It's aint over but we have been unable to operate as yet. We have been refunding tours and will continue to do so when we cant run.

We are ready to go when mother nature gives us the thumbs up.

Appreciate everyones support and can't wait to get cracking.

Hi Folks, a bit of an update from us as we have been quiet. Over the last two years you would have noticed that activities at the park have all but disappeared. We have worked hard to try to save them but unfortunately given the times we are in, we have been unsuccessful. Insurance and the massive increase in visitation and reportable incidents have got to a level where insurance companies are no longer willing to cover most of the fun activities we have done over the years.

This coupled with the great new hotham hub building at bus stop 12 has massively increased visitation to the area this year (a good thing) but which of course means more dispersion of people in the general area. The last activity we currently have running is our back country sled tours but unfortunately on weekends and school holidays it is no longer safe to run them as we have many people on some of the cross country tracks that we share. Our mission is to keep everyone safe and we are working closely with the resort to try to save this activity.

In 2026 once the outside landscaping is finished re the new building we will look at the possibility of bringing back the kids snowmobiles back subject to insurance and a safe location.

We thank each and everyone of you for your support over the last 12 years and hopefully we can find some solutions moving forward.

Activity Booking Officer/Supervisor - We are looking for vibrant part time and casual employees/contractors for Winter Season 2025 Hours will be flexible due to demand and snow conditions. Roles include, activity booking officer and activity supervisors. Applicants must speak fluent english and also must have a current Working With Children Card Victoria. First Aid Level 2. Punctuality, outgoing friendly customer focussed attitude is a must. Will involve a great majority of outside work in all conditions. Previous outside Snow Experience will be advantageous but not a must. Preference will be given to those who also have a Victorian Responsible Service Of Alcohol (RSA) certification as we will also have multiple food and beverage outlets as per below. Hours can be split amongst most venues.

Big Muster Distilling Company - Kitchen Hand, Cook and Bar Service, RSA required.

Cafe Operations, food service and Barista. RSA required.

Good afternoon everyone. It is with regret that we have decided to close the park down given the current conditions. We got three weeks of back country sled tours in this season, a record that we never wanted.
All remaining bookings will be refunded and people contacted tomorrow.
Thank you for those people that supported us by hiring toboggans or going on one of our tours. We receive no funding from the resort for the park which makes most days unviable without the snow for our tours.
