⚽️💙 HORSHAM FALCONS INTERNAL LEAGUE | ROUND 4 💙⚽️

Another fantastic day of football at Horsham Internal League with plenty of goals, smiles and great teamwork on display across both age groups!

Our Under 9s put on an entertaining game with the Titans defeating the Rangers 14-7. There were goals galore, but the best part was seeing players encouraging each other, building confidence and having fun with their friends.

In the Over 9 competition, the Bulls recorded wins over the Lions (5-3) and Hawks (1-0) in two closely contested matches. All teams showed great determination, sportsmanship and teamwork throughout the morning.

POST GAME WRAP | ROUND 7

A successful day at Dudley Cornell Reserve with plenty of goals, effort and teamwork on display from our Falcons.

The U14s put together a strong performance, defeating Port Fairy 6-1. The team moved the ball well, worked hard for each other and took their chances when they came. William Abrahams, Subal Pandey and Kody Dickerson-Williams each scored a brace, helping the Falcons secure a well-deserved victory. It was a complete team performance, with strong defensive work providing the foundation for the result.

The U17s faced a tough challenge against Warrnambool Wolves, going down 9-3. Despite the scoreline, the group continued to compete and showed great character throughout the match. William Abrahams scored twice, while Oluwateniola Ogunoye also found the back of the net. The players never stopped working and continued to support one another until the final whistle.

Across both games, there were plenty of positives to take away, with strong teamwork, determination and sportsmanship on display. Thank you to all players, coaches, volunteers and families for your continued support.

All players must be registered with our club through Football Victoria before training or playing because:

• Insurance coverage – Registered players are covered by Football Victoria’s insurance while participating in club activities.

• Player safety – Registration ensures the club has the correct player and emergency contact information.

• Eligibility to play – Football Victoria rules require players to be registered before they can train or play in matches.

• Club compliance – Clubs can face penalties if unregistered players take part in football activities.

Simply put, registration protects players, families, and the club, and is a requirement of Football Victoria. ⚽💙🖤

A quiet weekend on the pitch for the Falcons, with no scheduled matches across our teams.

Enjoy the break, recharge, spend time with family and friends, and get ready for the next round of football action. Stay safe if travelling. Training will continue as scheduled, so we’ll see everyone back at the club during the week.

POST GAME WRAP | ROUND 6

What a day for the Falcons, with both teams putting in outstanding performances and plenty of goals on display.

The U14s took on Wolves Yellow in an entertaining contest, eventually going down 6-4. Despite the result, the team showed tremendous fight and never gave up. William Abrahams was in sensational form, scoring all four goals for the Falcons. The group continued to create chances, worked hard for one another and kept pushing right until the final whistle.

The U17s produced a dominant display, defeating Grampians United 10-2. The Falcons were clinical in attack and moved the ball well across the pitch, creating opportunities throughout the match. Jasper Javier led the way with an incredible five-goal haul, while William Abrahams added four goals and Oluwateniola Ogunoye also got on the scoresheet.

Across both games, the effort, teamwork and determination shown by our players was fantastic. It was great to see players backing themselves, supporting their teammates and putting into practice what they’ve been working on at training.

A huge congratulations to all players, coaches and families on a successful day for the Falcons. 💙⚽🦅
