We are an all-age, all-inclusive club that has seen success both on and off the field. Based at the picturesque Mark Taylor Oval in Waitara (Sydney NSW), the Hornsby Rugby Club have pursued the art of rugby union since 1962. Hornsby Rugby has Junior, Senior and 'Golden Oldies' branches, supporting Men's, Women's and Junior Rugby Union development. We boast a rich history and proud traditions. Horn

sby is renowned for its strong community participation and international partnerships, like with Saunaka Village, Fiji. Hornsby Rugby Club is your local grass roots rugby club, where players of all skill levels and experience are welcomed. Our supporter base is strong, with many people far and wide laying claim to have either played for Hornsby or knowing someone who has. We would love your support. On or off the field, everyone has something to offer, in return for the satisfaction of being involved with a great community rugby club. Hornsby Rugby Club is celebrating its 60th Anniversary in 2022. All past, present and interested players are encouraged to contact the Club page for more information, or just come to a training session!

New update to the clubhouse! A massive thank you to the boys who sacrificed their rugby-free Saturday morning to come in and install some shelves to display our silverware for all to see. Achievements, both as a club and individuals, deserve to be seen, and we’re proud to show how far we’ve come!

Save the date: please note that Andrew Warner Memorial/Back to Hornsby Day will be held on July 18 this year.

It is later in the year due to scheduling not having The Nalas and Men’s and Colts sides at home together often through the season.

See you then!

All games tomorrow (May 29) are washed out and will be postponed to another weekend.

Stay dry and safe and we’ll see you at training next week.

A MASSIVE thank you to everyone that turned up to push through a 10k run in wet conditions last night to further Nathan Cosgrove’s “10km a Day for the Month of May” campaign.

Close to 50 people rocked up from Hornsby Rugby Club alone, whom were joined by members of Berowra FC and Northern Galaxy FC in their efforts to raise funds and awareness for Brain Cancer Australia while HRC club member Blake Davenport undergoes chemotherapy treatment.

We’re so unbelievably proud of how many people turned up and the effort everyone put in, completing the full 10k at their own pace, with some even pushing Nathan to his fastest pace yet!

We’re proud of the community spirit found throughout the area, and are proud to know that the Hornsby Rugby Club is an integral part of that.

Nathan has raised more than his $10 000 goal, but every dollar counts when helping the far too many families that are dealing with brain cancer diagnoses in Australia each year. Check our stories to see how you can contribute.

Another day with it all as your club went 3 big wins and a 1-point loss.

Thank you to everyone who came to show their support in some pretty horrid conditions - your support goes beyond getting our players over the line with food and drink orders from the canteen and hanging around for post-match presentations.

We're meant to be spread out again next weekend with both boys and girls at different away grounds, but keep an eye on our socials as there may be changes with the forecasted weather.

Keep an extra eye on our socials for announcements about the rescheduled "10km for May" run and training rearrangements pending weather.

First XV: 3:15pm v Renegades at MTO
Second XV: 2:00pm v Renegades at MTO
Colts: 12:45pm v Renegades at MTO

Tonight’s run is postponed for safety reasons due to the big storm passing through. The club and the run organiser feel that a large group in these conditions is unsafe.

All training off - rest up and see you Thursday.
