5 Benefits To Having Accountability.

1. Accountability accelerates your performance. When you connect with a coach (one-on-one or in a program) you can work the kinks out of your plan, develop a sure-fire winning strategy and execute with confidence, knowing you have been guided by the best to achieve your goals.

2. Accountability helps you measure your success and progress. A good coach will help you define what success looks like and set milestones to measure your progress along the way. You can easily track how close you are to reaching your goals.

3. Accountability keeps you engaged. There are things that will come up that will distract you from your goals and take you off course. Even when you’re bored, distracted or tired, knowing that you have to answer for your progress will keep you going to the finish line.

4. Accountability will keep you responsible. When you are working with someone who pushes you to make massive changes in a short amount of time and give a report…you finally realize that you are ultimately responsible for how much progress you make every day. Physical activity doesn't need to be complicated. Something as simple as a daily brisk walk can help you live a healthier life.

For example, regular brisk walking can help you:

- Maintain a healthy weight

- Prevent or manage various conditions, including heart disease, high blood pressure and type 2 diabetes

- Strengthen your bones and muscles

- Improve your mood

The weather has been awesome for you to enjoy the water a lot more.

I definitely recommend getting out in the sun chasing that vitamin D.

But if you're not comfortable just yet hit the pool instead.

Just make sure you get in the water soon, because swimming aka exercising builds endurance, muscular strength and cardiovascular fitness.

It also helps unwanted weight stay off and possibly lose some!

RECIPE WEDNESDAYS:

BREAKFAST TURKEY BURGERS

SERVES: 3
PREP: 10MIN
COOK: 15MIN

NUTRITION PER SERVING:
311 CALORIES
5g CARBS
18g FATS
32g PROTEIN

WHAT YOU NEED:

10.5 oz. lean ground turkey
1 tbsp. mixed herbs
salt & pepper
1 tbsp. coconut oil
1 large ripe avocado
juice of ½ lime
3 eggs
salad leaves, to serve

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:

Season the ground turkey with herbs and salt & pepper, then form three burgers. Heat ½ the coconut oil in a pan and cook the burgers for about 10 min turning half way, until browned and cooked throughout.

In the meantime prepare the avocado mash. Remove the stone and scoop out the avocado flesh into a bowl. Mash it with a fork and mix with the lime juice.

Lastly, fry up the eggs using the remaining coconut oil.

Stack it all up by adding mashed avocado on top of the burger and then the fried egg. Serve on a bed of salad leaves.
