It’s amazing to see so many volunteers and participants so passionate about being involved in community sport!

We're back again this weekend for another exciting session – and we can’t wait to do it all over again! Whether you’re a regular or thinking of joining us for the first time, everyone’s welcome.

🏉 A Huge Kick-Off for Fairgo Football! 🙌
Saturday was our very first session of the 2025 Season — and what a day it was! 🌟

Fairgo Football is all about inclusion, confidence, and fun — and Saturday proved why this matters. Whether it was a first handball, a first kick, or meeting new friends!

We saw smiles, high fives, new faces, and some incredible football action out on the field. For the new faces, this is the first time getting involved in local sport and feeling like part of a team which most of us take for granted.

A massive thank you to our amazing coaches, volunteers, families, and especially our players. A big thank you to Jackson Doyle for coming to help out.

This is just the beginning — and we’re only going to grow from here.

Fairgo Football is incredibly honoured to announce that on the 18th of November, Jonny O'Connor, Director of Fairgo Football, was awarded the 2024 Volunteer of the Year award for the City of Caulfield.

This award was part of the Annual Volunteer of the Year Awards - celebrating the contributions of individuals across the Caulfield community. In the sporting category, there were 12 nominees; and we are thrilled that Fairgo Football has been recognised as the winner!

As a result of this announcement, local State Member David Southwick MP, in partnership with Community Bank Caulfield Park, awarded $1,000 to Fairgo Football.

After receiving the award, Jonny O’Connor said, “I want to thank David Southwick MP and Bendigo Community Bank for their generosity. Also a huge thank you to the Ormond Junior Football Club and James Warfe, Ormond JFC Vice President for the nomination. While I was nominated for this award, I could not have received it without the amazing volunteers and coaches who dedicate their time and effort to make this program possible. Most importantly though, I want to say a huge thanks to the parents, carers, and participants—you are the heart and soul of Fairgo Football. This program thrives because of your commitment, support, and enthusiasm.”

Thank you to all of those across the community for being part of Fairgo Football in 2024, we are looking forward to 2025!

A big thank you to one of the amazing parents of the fairgo footy team Matt for inviting our head coach Jonny and Harry to the Melbourne press club, where the Bachar Houli Foundation was speaking about the importance of sport in creating community, which is one of our goals in this program. Afternoon all, contrary to last post this was our last week of fairgo footy 🥲. Big thank you to all our fantastic volunteers for all there hard work keeping the fairgo spirt alive another season. And a thank you to all of the players who brought the energy every week. This isn’t the end of this wonderful program we will be up and running again next year with hopefully everyone back.
