🏊‍♀️ NSW Swimmers Shine at Para Pan Pacs

NSW swimmers made a strong impact at the 2026 Para Pan Pacific Championships in Walnut, USA, contributing to Australia’s success with individual medals, PBs and multiple relay podium finishes. 🇦🇺

🥈 Declan Budd (Knox Pymble) claimed silver in the 100m Butterfly and bronze in the 200m Freestyle with a PB.

🥉 Alex Tuckfield (AquaBlitz) and Stephanie Bruzzese (PLC Sydney) also secured individual bronze medals, while Jasmine Greenwood and Alex Saffy (Woden) added further podium finishes.

🏅 NSW athletes also contributed to multiple Australian relay medals, including gold in the Mixed 200m Medley and Mixed 4x100m Medley and Freestyle relays.

A huge congratulations to all NSW athletes, coaches and support staff on an outstanding international campaign! 👏

Swimming NSW is pleased to announce the appointment of Dale Johnson as Head of Growth.

Dale Johnson will join Swimming NSW on 28 September, bringing strong swimming-sector experience across participation, competitions, communications, partnerships, membership systems and community engagement. He joins after senior roles with Swimming New Zealand, including Head of Participation, Competitions & Engagement and Head of Participation & Events, and also brings earlier experience with Swimming Australia.

The Head of Growth role will lead a connected growth agenda across participation, membership, partnerships, marketing and retail operations, helping Swimming NSW strengthen its reach, relevance and impact across the broader swimming community.

Following the exciting announcement that the 2027 Australian Swimming Trials will be held at Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre from 31 May to 5 June 2027, we’ve got an update for our NSW swimming community!

Australia’s best swimmers will hit the pool as they battle it out for selection to the 2027 World Championships, right here in NSW! 🔥

With the Trials now confirmed, we’ve also updated the 2027 NSW Winter Championships Calendar to accommodate this major event.
