Our well supervised classes help the children with coordination skills and are given the opportunity to express their artistic ability in a fun and exciting environment. Students often perform in public which increases their self confidence. Our end of year concert also provides the students a chance to showcase what they have been working on over the last year. History:
Karen Healy Dancers began

in 1979 at the School of Arts in Home Hill as Karens former teacher left and there was no one to replace her. She was approached by many parents of former students to continue teaching here which is how it all began. Originally known as Karens School Of Dance, Karen began ballet and modern classes and has now continued adding Hip-Hop (Taught by Jake Healy and Keely Warcon) Contemporary & Stretch,Flex&Fitness (Taught by Jake Healy and Jessica Torrisi) to the already HUGE timetable. With over 150 students we love giving every child the opportunity to do what they love. From all of us at KHD, we look forward to seeing you through the year! Hi everyone!

Welcome to KHD 2023! We are heading back to the studio Monday 30th January and if you are looking for a fun, safe, and thrilling environment to dance in then look no further, we have got you covered!

If you are thinking of joining our family in 2023, please send an enquiry to [email protected] and we will send through all the required details for your enrolment!

Our 2023 class timetable is also available and the following additional class (contemporary and hip hop) gradings are as follows:

* Junior - Grade 1-4
* Intermediate - Grade 5-7
* Senior - Grade 8 to Open

We look forward to seeing all our existing and new students this year and have a lot of exciting things in store 🤍
