Most athletes train hard, but very few train smart.

The difference is usually in what happens before the session starts.

Static stretching before lifting. Jumping straight into heavy sets. Ignoring how your body feels that day.

These aren’t beginner mistakes. I see experienced athletes make them every week.

Those who stay healthy, consistent and keep progressing prioritise these swaps. Every session.

You don’t lack effort. You lack direction.

That’s the actual problem.

Most people I speak to are already training hard.

Early mornings, long sessions and sore the next day.

But they’re not moving forward.

That’s because effort without direction is simply noise.

No clear goal.
No structure built around it.
No way to know if what you’re doing is actually working.

That’s not a fitness problem, it’s a system problem and it’s fixable.

When athletes stop competing, they don’t lose their fitness first.

They lose their structure.

Sport gave you a schedule, a standard to push to and a reason to show up.

But when it ended, nobody replaced that.

That’s why the training fell away. Not laziness. Not age.

A missing system.

Everyday athletes don’t need more motivation. They need structure built around the life they actually have.

Most athletes train hard. Very few train complete.

Here’s what’s actually missing.

You’re not plateauing because you don’t work hard enough.

You’re plateauing because one of these three is broken and the other two can’t make up for it.

Training without nutrition is wasted adaptation. Nutrition without recovery is wasted fuel.
Recovery without training is just rest.

All three together, that’s a system!

💪HARD FKN WORK

Nowdays, it's super easy to become distracted, especially with all the noise going on in our society.

We fall down a rabbit hole on the internet and well, 2hrs later... we are still in the same position.

When your chasing your dreams, you will be faced with many obstacles.

It's not so much about what the obstacle is, but how you respond to it, that dictates the trajectory of your path.

Outside influences or opinions shouldn't have an effect on what you want to achieve, you should be able to flick the switch and retain focus towards your vision.

This is where the "Hard Work" skill is built, this value is based abound your strategy and being disciplined with it.

You must be able to stay accountable to yourself, your coach or team, and go beyond the many challenges that arise, by keeping your vision in mind and moving forward.

Patience also plays a factor, but you need to be equipped with the tools/training in the first place so that when the opportunity comes to fruition, you are ready to execute and in turn, be miles ahead of your competition.

To sum up, only you know how much you've put in.
Your either going to do the work or your not. It's one way or the other. ↔️

Just know, that the hard work you put in now, will make the result much more enjoyable I'm the future 💯

Working on agility and sharp shooting with Daniel in one of our drills this morning, getting ready for a big football season ahead to see out the 'second half' of 2020.

He has not only progressed with his football abilities and technique over the past couple of months, but since he started training with us in October 2019, he has stacked on a huge 10+ Kilos in lean muscle mass, increased in all his major lifts and built a strong foundation in order to become more lethal player on the field.

The amount of commitment and dedication that he has shown over the past 8months towards his training and nutrition is second to none.

Looking forward to all of his achievements this year!

"Who else notices a difference in the way they look and feel, given our current environment?

I know I do.

What if I told you, in 30days time you will have dropped 5+ kilos in body fat?

Or even better, build more muscle without any marathon workouts?

Over the past 30days in our isolated world, I've been experimenting with a nutrition plan which is super convenient and takes the added stress away from my everyday life.

I've always struggled with my nutrition, and the ability to put on muscle mass, mainly due to calories in vs calories out, where my exercise frequency was super high (I was burning more calories than I was eating). 🍳

The nutrition program that I committed to, enabled me to tailor the way it works to align with my health and fitness goals, giving me the opportunity to increase muscle and maximize my results while reducing any muscle wastage.

What if I told you from a first hand experience,

That if you tighten a few screws on your diet and understand that a short 30-day window could change your life, what would be stopping you from giving it a go?

🏋️‍♂️🔥CLIENT SPOTLIGHT🔥🏋️‍♂️
james90 pulling a solid 160kgx2 towards the end of our strength training block.

Applying a periodized training program to an individual who consistently turns up and gives 100% week in week out gives me such a rewarding feeling.

Not only has he achieved Club Winner for the 12week challenge Fitter Faster Stronger but he continues to show consistent progression when we manipulate training volume, intensity and exercise selection to create a new stimulus in which his body must adapt.

We are currently halfway through his metabolic condition phase, in order to really target and drop his Body Fat %.

Big things to come with this rig 💪

Note* - Always try to keep head in a neutral position throughout deadlift 😂
