Darling River Run endurance ride.
Firstly a huge Thankyou goes out to everyone involved in making this ride happen. You guys always know how to run a successful ride giving us great memories to take home. This one is definitely on top of the list. Taking us to the outback and giving us a real test of endurance. From the heat, the flies, the endless prickles, sand and lots of red dirt. The locals were so welcoming and the meals the community cooked up for us were just so delicious. We really were spoilt. Having pre ride and presentation at the pub was amazing. Having all the winning horses there was the icing on the cake. Well done guys🤩
We took 3 horses to this event with some mixed results but once again our beautiful purebred gelding Newbury Illustraa’s Impact (Finny) and Hannah Cossor cleaned up.
🥇youth in the 100km fei 1* and Best Condition. 3rd across the line carrying a normal size human ( anyone who was there will understand 😆)
Hannah and Finny are an absolute cracking team and iv loved every minute of these two competing together.
They also took out the Vets choice award across all events. This award was sponsored by Radicon.
Lastly their number 111 was drawn out and they won a HBA saddle.
