Bebe Sparkle/Bec Collins ππ
Bec Collins, also professionally known as Bebe Sparkle, is a distinguished figure in Tasmania's performing arts community. As the creator, owner, and head instructor of Diamond Class Pole and Fitness Studio, established in 2007, she has been instrumental in pioneering pole dancing in Hobart. Her studio stands as the city's first, largest, and most respected professional pole fitness centers.
Under the stage name 'Bebe Sparkle'βthe Queen of DiamondsβBec has earned acclaim as an entertainer, pole and aerial artist, emcee, producer, and leader of her performance troupe, the 'Diamonds of Polesque.' Her performances are celebrated for their sparkly creativity, energy, and gravity-defying artistry.
In addition to her performance career, Bec is an internationally accredited Master Trainer with 'Pole Pro' qualifying her to train other instructors. Her expertise and dedication have significantly contributed to the growth and recognition of pole dancing as a respected art form in Tasmania.
Beyond her studio, Bec has played a pivotal role in the broader performing arts scene. She has produced and led numerous events, including 'Shining Diamonds,' Tasmania's first and longest-running pole dance competition in addition to many state comps, most recently her own 'Pole Dance Tas State comp established 2024' providing a vital platform for polers accross Tasmania. Her commitment to fostering talent is evident in her mentorship of many titleholders in pole dance, burlesque, pin-up, and drag genres.
Bec's influence extends to local and national community events, where she has served as an emcee and performer, enriching Tasmania's cultural landscape with her dynamic presence and passion for the performing arts and inclusivity.
