Elicia graduated from the Tasmanian Conservatorium of Music with a Bachelor of Music in Composition, her final year spent on exchange at City University London. Elicia’s training as a piano tuner and technician took her to Melbourne where she studied under Brent Ottley at the Australasian School of Piano Technology. Now an accredited Yamaha technician, Elicia is qualified to undertake all matters relating to the tuning and maintenance of pianos in domestic, educational, and concert environments.

Dear Valued Customers,

I regret to inform you that I have closed my business indefinitely. Piano tuning has taken a toll on my physical health and I have decided to pursue another career venture.

I am proud of what I have achieved as a young woman in a male-dominated industry and I am very thankful to my mentors, colleagues and customers for all their support over the last five years. I have put a lot of work into my business and it has been a hard decision to make and not one I have taken lightly but I am looking forward to the next chapter.

Definitely a career highlight working with Tim Minchin and his wonderful team over the last 3 days. I was given so much consideration and respect while tuning, such a treat!
Last night’s show was bittersweet as the tour comes to an unexpected halt. We got lucky Hobart - hopefully the show is on the road again soon!

Reached the halfway mark of the Grand Piano Course at the Yamaha Piano Technical Academy - only 2 weeks to go. The training is intensive and the days are long but an amazing experience all round. I am refining my skills every single day, I am so grateful to be here!

We have free time over the weekend and what better thing to do than geek out at the Yamaha Museum - Innovation Road. Here are some photos of my time there yesterday.
