Hobart PCYC Gymnastics Club (Official) Hobart PCYC Gymnastics Club is a not for profit community club based in Hobart’s CBD. We hope to see you at one of our programmes soon!

We are one of the many activities held at the Hobart Police and Community Youth Club. PCYC’s vision is to be widely recognised in the community as ‘A professional provider of quality programmes for the benefit of youth in the Tasmanian Community’. Our club is affiliated to Gymnastics Tasmania and Gymnastics Australia and our programmes are endorsed by Gymnastics Australia. We also support the coac

h and judge education programmes run by Gymnastics Australia. We offer competition programmes for Women’s Artistic Gymnastics, Men’s Artistic Gymnastics, Rhythmic Gymnastics, Double Mini Tramp and Tumbling. Our very popular Recreational programmes cater for all ages and abilities, incorporating Kinder Gym, Gym Fun, Gym Skills and Adult Gymnastics.

We want to wish Josh and Becca good luck this weekend at the Gymnastics Tasmania Senior State Championships.

Josh is competing both MAG L7 and Double Mini Trampoline National L7. Becca is competing L7 Tumbling.

Both are hoping to achieve qualifying scores for the Australian Championships later this year.

On the 18th and 19th of April we had 7 of our DMT & TUM team head to their first competition of the year.

We had an awesome 2 days of competition starting off on Saturday night with Stacey (L4 Women) and Becca (L7 Women) Tumbling coming out with 1st and 3rd respectively.

Moving onto Sunday we had strong performance for our DMT Athletes.
Starting off with Josh (L7 Men) and Nick (L6 Men) picking up 1st and 3rd respectivly. Later in the day we had our Level 3 Women, with Stacey just missing out on a medal in 4th, Violet coming in 7th and Lola picking up 17th. Selwyn (L4 Men) finished 7th.

We would like to thank Dominic for coaching our athletes and Josh and Nick being available to judge after they had competed. Thanks also to our Gymnastics Coordinator Mardi for coming down to cheer on our athletes from the stands.
