Worker safety should never be optional.

But neither should evidence.

Tasmaniaโ€™s industry groups are pushing back on the proposed workplace chemical limits, saying the state should pause, do a real Tasmania-specific cost-benefit analysis, and answer the questions that still matter most: Can these limits actually be measured? Can small businesses afford them? And will they genuinely improve safety in the real world?

That is the debate Tasmania should be having right now.

Because strong safety laws should be practical, measurable, and based on evidence โ€” not rushed, vague, or impossible to implement on actual worksites.

If the rules are right, prove it.
If they are not, fix them before workers and businesses are left carrying the cost.

Do you think Tasmania should pause these changes and do a full review first?

The headlines say ceasefire. The reality is far more fragile. ๐ŸŒ

The U.S. and Iran have agreed to a two-week truce, and talks are expected in Islamabad. But this is not a final peace. It is a pause in a conflict that has already shaken the region, rattled global energy markets, and put the Strait of Hormuz right at the center of the story.

That is why this moment matters.

A ceasefire can stop the immediate fire, but it does not magically erase mistrust, strategic pressure, or the deeper issues that caused the conflict in the first place. The world is watching to see whether this becomes real diplomacy โ€” or just a short break before another escalation.

Peace is not the announcement.
Peace is what happens after the announcement.

Do you think this ceasefire holds, or is it only buying time?

Most Australians think super is just โ€œput money away and wait.โ€ But the truth is a lot harsher. ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บ

You earn it.
It gets taxed.
It goes into super.
It gets taxed again.
It grows inside the fund.
That gets taxed too.
Then the fees start quietly chewing through what is supposed to be your future.

That is why blind trust is so dangerous.

Your retirement should never be built on autopilot and assumptions. It should be built on understanding exactly where your money is going, what fees you are paying, how your super is invested, and whether your strategy is actually serving you.

Because working for decades only to hand over more of your future through silence, complexity, and bad defaults is not a plan.

Know your fees.
Know your investments.
Know your options.
Your future deserves more than hope. It deserves a strategy. ๐Ÿ”ฅ

How many Australians do you think have actually checked what their super is costing them?

Angus Taylor just said the quiet part out loud: Australians may need to โ€œlook after ourselves.โ€ ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บโ›ฝ

That should alarm people.

Because when the country is already at stage two of its fuel security plan and families are still being fed vague talking points instead of hard answers, this is no longer just a fuel story. It is a leadership story.

Australians were told to expect reassurance. Instead, they got more uncertainty, more political point-scoring, and more signs that a resource-rich country is still dangerously exposed when global pressure hits.

This should never have been the position Australia found itself in.

A serious government does not wait for a crisis to start talking about resilience. A serious government secures supply, gives people clarity, and puts Australians first before confidence starts breaking down.

This is bigger than petrol prices.
This is about cost of living.
This is about national resilience.
This is about whether Australia can actually stand on its own feet when it matters.

02/04/2026

Australia is being told not to panic.

Weโ€™re told thereโ€™s a four-step fuel security plan. Weโ€™re told the government has it under control. Weโ€™re told to trust the process.

But when you look past the headlines, the reality is a lot less reassuring.

Australia is already sitting at level two of the governmentโ€™s fuel security framework, which means disruptions are already being taken seriously enough to activate the plan. And yet there is still confusion around what happens if things get worse, when rationing would actually begin, and which sectors would be protected first. Farmers are already warning that the plan still gives them no real clarity, despite the fact they help keep the country fed and moving. ()

That is the real issue.

A serious fuel security plan should not leave Australians guessing. It should not be vague about priorities. It should not rely on โ€œtrust usโ€ messaging while households get smashed by prices and industries are left wondering whether theyโ€™ll be pushed to the back of the queue.

And the temporary fuel excise cut? It might ease pressure at the bowser for a moment, but it does not solve the deeper problem: Australia remains heavily exposed to international fuel shocks and supply chain pressure. ()

This is bigger than petrol prices.

This is about resilience.
This is about sovereignty.
This is about whether a resource-rich nation actually has a real plan when pressure hits.

What do you think โ€” is this genuine fuel security, or just political damage control?

01/04/2026

Most people are still being sold a fantasy. ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บ

Work hard.
Pay tax.
Trust the system.
Wait your turn.

Then one day youโ€™ll be looked after.

That story falls apart the moment you realise the rules keep changing, the goalposts keep moving, and the same people asking for your trust canโ€™t even manage the present.

Centrelink is not a retirement plan.
The aged pension is not a wealth strategy.
And blind faith in government is not financial security.

The people who build real freedom donโ€™t wait for permission. They build assets. They create income. They take responsibility. They put themselves in a position where their future is not hanging on political promises.

Hope is not a plan.
Dependence is not security.
And waiting to be saved is how people get left behind.

Build your own plan.
Build your own income.
Build your own freedom. ๐Ÿ”ฅ

How many people still think the government will take care of them in retirement?

31/03/2026

Most Australians think tax is just what comes out of their pay.

It is not.

It is your income.
Your fuel.
Your lunch.
Your car.
Your property.
Your super.
Your investments.
Even your beer.

They do not just tax you once.
They tax you every step of your life, in pieces so small and so often that most people never stop to add it all up.

That is why so many Australians feel like they are working harder, earning more, and still getting nowhere.

This is not one tax.
It is death by a thousand cuts.

How much of your money do you think really disappears in taxes across your lifetime?

30/03/2026

Another rate rise. Another hit to everyday Australians.

The RBA lifted the cash rate to 4.10% on March 17, and the major banks quickly passed on the full 0.25% increase to variable mortgage holders. Economists have also flagged that May could still bring another hike if inflation stays hot.

So while they call it โ€œjust a quarter of a percent,โ€ families already struggling with groceries, fuel, insurance and power bills know exactly what it really means: less breathing room, more stress, and one more reminder that the cost of living crisis is far from over.

The big question is not whether rates moved. It is whether ordinary Australians are being forced to carry too much of the burden.

Do you think this is necessary discipline, or are mortgage holders being squeezed too hard?

Qantas is adding more flights to Europe, but do not expect cheaper fares.

As conflict in the Middle East disrupts major stopover hubs like Dubai and Doha, Qantas is increasing capacity on key Europe routes from mid-April to late July. Perth to Rome will go daily, Paris will rise from three to five flights a week via Sydney and Singapore, and Perth to Singapore will increase to 10 flights a week.

That sounds like good news, but the reality is tougher: capacity between Australia and Europe has been squeezed, routes are being reshaped around safety concerns, and aviation experts say this is unlikely to bring down prices. Travellers may get more options, but not cheaper ones.

One conflict, and the whole travel market shifts. More delays. More expensive tickets. More uncertainty for ordinary travellers.

Would you still book Europe this year, or are the prices and uncertainty enough to make you choose somewhere else?

28/03/2026

Australia is being crushed by fuel prices while sitting on massive natural resources, and barely anyone in Canberra wants to talk about it.

We are told to accept higher petrol prices, higher living costs, and more dependence on overseas supply, while our own energy potential stays buried in the ground.

This is not just about petrol.
This is about cost of living.
This is about national security.
This is about whether Australia backs itself, or keeps making families pay the price.

If South Australia is sitting on an opportunity this big, why are Australians still being forced to live like energy-poor citizens in a resource-rich country?

Enough excuses. Enough slogans. Enough weakness.

Australia should be putting Australians first.

Do you think it is time we started using more of our own resources?

Trump has called out Australia publicly, and if this escalates, ordinary Australians will wear the cost.

Higher fuel. Higher living costs. More pressure on families already doing it tough.

Australians do not want to be dragged into another conflict to please the US. They want strong leadership, national interest first, and a government with the backbone to protect this country.

Should Australia stand its ground, or cave to US pressure?
