What to expect
During the closure, you may notice:

No through-traffic between Bell Street and Selfs Point Road
Increased workers, trucks, and construction equipment on site
Fenced work areas for safety
Some noise from excavation and pipe installation
Changes to traffic movements around Cornelian Bay
Reduced speed limits and traffic management are in place
The Intercity Cycleway remains open
Reduced car parking in the southern section of the car park (access via Bell Street)
Pedestrian access is maintained between Bellevue Parade, the playground, and the Boathouse areas.

Hi all,

I am getting some guests coming through surprised that they can still get to The Boathouse. The traffic management signs are not correct. Queens Walk is not closed, part of Queens Walk is closed which is the slipway between the Domain Hwy and Bellevue Parade.

You can still access the Boathouse via Bellevue Parade or the Risdon Road entrance to Queens Walk (off the Brooker Hwy)

Kiosk 7 days 9.30am - 4.30pm
Restaurant Lunch 7 days 12pm - 3pm
Dinner Wed - Sat from 5.30pm

Hi All,

Since Tas Water have started advertising on traffic management displays “Queens Walk Closed March to May”, I have had a lot of customers voice their concerns. Tas Water are closing Queens Walk between the Domain Hwy and Bellevue. You can still access The Boathouse, the park, the oval, bbq facilities and the rest of this fantastic area via Bellevue Parade or via the Risdon Road entrance to Queens Walk.
This closure is set to happen from March 3rd to the best of my knowledge.

The Boathouse will continue to trade as normal
Kiosk 7 days (excluding public holidays) from 9.30am – 4.30pm
Restaurant Lunch 7 days (excluding public holidays) from 12pm – 3pm
Restaurant Dinner Wednesday – Saturday from 5.30pm

SUPERB WATERFRONT DINING.

Limited portions of today's special! Slow cooked spicey rump cap on coconut and tumeric sauteed cabbage. There is one less now, it was delicious!
