Hello everyone! As we approach the festive season and head to the supermarkets for our Christmas Day shopping, let's take a moment to appreciate the farmers, their families, and the truck drivers who work tirelessly around the clock to deliver the delicious food we enjoy at our dinner tables.
Warm regards
Darrel and Jonathon
Rural Alive & Well

This holiday season, take a moment to thank a farmer or anyone working hard to care for our land and community.

We’re Still Looking for Volunteers!

Events like this simply wouldn’t happen without the help of an amazing crew of volunteers. We already have an amazing team who’ve put their hands up to help out, but to share the load (and make sure everyone gets time to enjoy the festival too), we’re looking for a few more people to join the team.

You won’t go empty-handed!

If you love good vibes, great company, and being part of something unforgettable, we’d love to have you on board.

Hi everyone
we have some wonderful news to share.

Peter Barnett from Derby Forest Cabins has generously offered a 20% discount on accommodation to anyone Riding the Byroads.
You can find the link to his website on our friends page, in the RtB Derby icon on the route page or by downloading the app and opening the Motodry Tankbag. Moto National Accessories
The best way to book is to call Peter directly and mention RtB.

Each cabin is self-contained, featuring a bathroom and kitchen. Additionally, there's a large communal kitchen with a fire pit—affectionately dubbed the “beer and bullsh*t” area. Peter also has a bus available to transport guests to the pub and back. (Brilliant)

Winnaleah Township, situated on the RtB route is located just a mere 11kms north of Peter's cabins at Derby making it a very easy detour while tackling the trail.

Peter is a fellow motorbike rider and has extensive knowledge of the Derby area.
Consider staying a couple of days to explore the beautiful forest trails on your bike or gather your friends and try your luck riding two wheels without an engine and hire some mountain bikes and take on the world-renowned Blue Derby downhill tracks!

Peter told me we can thank the recent Ride the Byroads snippet in the Australian Adventure Bike Magazine on page 32, this is where he came across RtB.

We are so grateful for Peters support, so please support Peter and the many other businesses in our friends page.

Hey everyone!
We have a fantastic local YouTube creator who just released a great video showcasing Honey Suckle Rd.
I had the pleasure of joining Big Bert on this trip, and I must say, it was my first time riding Honey Suckle Rd in this direction. It’s amazing how different everything looks from another perspective!
He’s done something unique with this video, allowing me to share the story of how RtB came to be.

Big Bert is a great ambassador for RtB so lets show our support and help his channel grow by subscribing. Thank you Big Bert.

Darrel and Jono
