Historic Hobart; The inaugural Hobart Airport Marathon Festival is set along the spectacular Constitution Dock, Derwent River and Salamanca Wharves, runners and fans will be beguiled by the charming, contrasting blend of heritage, scenery and culture nestled amongst world- class attractions throughout the 2 lap course. With picturesque waterways, pristine bushland, rugged mountains, captivating history and a world- class gourmet & cultural scene, runners will be enamoured by all this great city has to offer. With five distances on offer Full Marathon - 42.2km | Half Marathon - 21.1km | 10km | 5km run & 5km walk | 2km Fun run and walk. Everyone has an opportunity to experience the thrill of crossing the finish line with Hobart's iconic waterfront as the backdrop.

With an impressive track record in shorter distances, Samuel certainly didn't come to play at the 2026 Hutchies Half Marathon. Toll ran a 1:12:02 with an average pace of 3:25/km across the undulating course making it look easy.

Milly Clark is no stranger to the Hobart Marathon Festival, now holding the course record for both the full and half marathon distances. After securing second place over the weekend in the Sydney Marathon Australian Championships, her form is looking strong as ever.

Hobart local and previous podium finisher Eve Mure put on a stellar performance, crossing the line just a couple of minutes behind the Olympian to secure second.

Rounding out the podium was professional triathlete Cassandra Heaslip, who delivered an impressive 1:22:40 to take third.

Just nine months after welcoming her son, Petra Melis-Walsh secured the top spot at the 2026 Hobart Marathon. Running an impressive 2:47:40 and if you’ve ever tackled this course, you’ll know just how impressive that time truly is. Petra crossed the line a huge 18:41 ahead of her competition.

And if a marathon wasn’t enough, Petra went on to secure the win in her first 65km ultra marathon in Alice Springs, just one month after Hobart.

We can’t wait to welcome her back in 2027 to defend her title 🐅
