What makes us especially proud is seeing people from different communities come together for one simple purpose: to help someone we may never meet.

For Kathmandu Warriors, cricket brings us together, but community gives us our purpose. This blood donation drive represents exactly what we want Warriors to stand for giving back, looking after one another and making a difference wherever we can.

We sincerely thank Janet Gatehouse Mayor of Sorell Council for sharing her thoughts, prayers and support for the communities affected by the devastating floods in Nepal. Australian communities have once again stood beside Nepalese people during a time of great need. As a gesture of gratitude, we encourage everyone who is eligible to come forward and donate blood. It is a meaningful way to give back to the community we call home and help save lives here in Australia. Let’s stand together-supporting Nepal in this difficult time while making a life-saving difference here at home. Please reach out if you would like to donate on Warriors donation day this Saturday, 5th September.

Our hearts go out to everyone affected by the devastating floods in parts of Nepal. We extend our deepest condolences to the families who have lost loved ones, homes and livelihoods.
As a Nepalese community living abroad, our thoughts and prayers are with everyone back home. At this difficult time, may we all find the courage to stand together, support one another and help in whatever way we can. We pray that this dreadful time passes soon and that the affected communities find strength, comfort and hope as they begin to rebuild.
