Last night we headed up the road to race the last show for the season and our home track.

Heat 1 we started out of P1 and lead from start to finish on a greasy track.

Heat 2 we started out of p11 got a bit lucky on the bottom off turn 2 and slotted straight into 3rd put in some good laps grabbed the lead with 5-6 to go and took the win

2 wins put us of pole for the final with trialling some suspension changes through the night we threw some more changes at it thinking the track would blow off a bit more but rolled out onto the track and it was juiced we struggled a bit and our thrown together engine didn’t quite have the power to keep to the front 2 cars and we finished 3rd

Just like to thank everyone who has helped out this season whether it’s in the shed or at the track I appreciate it greatly.

Time to strip the car down pull the engine out and get ready for another crack next season with a trip already booked will see us head to Murray bridge for the national title in February

Last night we to latrobe for the Tasmanian modified state title

We managed a 1st 2nd 1st through out our 3 heats staying out of trouble yet racing hard and getting the car dialled in as much as possible for the feature,

Qualifying poll we had a great start and got the lead into turn one and found a good line around the top driving off every slider attempt made, manage to hold the lead for 3/4 of the race but just wasn’t ment to be finishing in 2nd place which is our last meeting in this car done with it now off to a new home. It definitely has been a great car to us and wish the new owners all the same.

I would like to say a big Thankyou to everyone that has been apart of and supported my racing in modifieds over the last 8 years it’s all been very much appreciated and will not be forgotten,

Last night we headed up the road to Latrobe for the 50 lap iron man event.

42 cars to battle it out heat 1 we lead start to finish from the front heat 2 started off the back drove up to challenge for the lead but got driven off the track and dropped back to 3rd got given 2nd as a 1+1 was given to a car in front

With a 1st and 2nd we started the 50 lap final out of p4 ran 3rd for most of the race as passing was hard on the track a yellow come out with 5 to go managed to get around the outside and make the pass finally stick for 2nd and that where we finished.

After a few changes to the car it was definitely better but still improvements to be made.

Thanks to Wayne @ smooth for helping me get the car going forward on the slick.
