This is a bit of a hard post to make but unfortunately due to personal reasons I am no longer able to offer Bit Fitting to the state of Tasmania.

Offering this service to the beautiful horses and riders of Tassie has been an absolute pleasure, I am so happy to have met and helped so many find the perfect bit for their horses.
Having the correct bit helps improve the communication in the horse and rider team as well as making the horse happier in a number of ways.

Although Clover Equine Services is no longer able to offer this service, the lovely Taylor at Tasmanian Equine Dentistry has begun studying with Bitbank Australia to become Tassies next qualified Bit Fitter. So if you are looking to get a bit fitting done for your horse Taylor will be able to provide this service to you from September 2022.

Thank you to all for the support for both myself and this important service it means a lot to me and I will be forever grateful for the opportunity.

Expression of interest for North West Tasmania Bit Fitting Trip.

Love this! Just because your horse is heavy or pushing against the bit does not always mean you need a “stronger” bit. Working with the horse to find the right bit can improve all aspects of their ridden work.

Remembering that the bit is not for control it’s for communication.

Due to lockdown in Vic, I have extended my visit to Tassie. I have a couple of spare appointments this week and early next week.

I will be in the south of the state on Friday 30th and Sat 31st, with the remainder of the time in the north.

Huge thank you to Alexis 'Lexie' Jane and Dr Louise from Exclusively Equine Veterinary Service for allowing me to come and watch the O***y and Gelding Scar manipulation procedures yesterday. Such an interesting and amazing process to watch, I learnt so much more about the equine body and what is going on inside our horses- things we would have had no idea was going on!
