Some big news this morning.

Today we’re releasing our plan for the entire Mac Point site.

Not just the stadium, but the space around it that will help bring this wasteland to life.

The bars, restaurants and even housing for essential workers.

We anticipate that this surrounding development will create around 1,800 jobs for Tasmanians.

That means more wealth for Tasmanians, and more opportunity for our next generation.

And that’s what it’s all about.

Together you raised over $11,000 which will help us in our mission of "making a difference today" for Tasmanian families living with neuromuscular disorders.

The decision has been made - the carry on needs to stop.

The vote has happened. That is democracy. You do not have to like the outcome, but you do have to respect the process and the people elected to make these calls.

What is not OK is the vitriol being directed at Bec and other MLCs. Abuse, intimidation, and personal attacks are not “holding people to account”. They are childish. They are bullying. And they undermine the very values people claim to represent.

Disagree. Debate next steps. Keep advocating for what you believe in. But do it like adults. Respect the vote, and treat people with basic decency.
