🏏 Joy Bangla Cricket Club Secures Victory in Hobart Champions League T-20! Round 8 🎉

In a thrilling encounter against Derwent Scorpions, Joy Bangla Cricket Club emerged victorious by 26 runs, showcasing their prowess in the Hobart Champions League T-20. The match was nothing short of excitement, with Harinder Singh earning the well-deserved title of "Man of the Match." Not only did Harinder Singh shine with his outstanding performance, but the Man of the Match award from Joy Bangla Cricket Club was also bestowed upon Deepak Janoti for his exceptional bowling skills. Truly a stellar effort from the team!

Setting a target of 147 runs, Joy Bangla Cricket Club demonstrated their batting prowess. However, Derwent Scorpions kicked off with a formidable 70-run opening partnership, setting the stage for an intense battle.

In a strategic move, the team's captain entrusted the spin bowling attack, successfully limiting Derwent Scorpions to 121 runs. This brilliant tactical decision paved the way for Joy Bangla Cricket Club to clinch the victory and celebrate a well-fought triumph.

Hobart Champions League round 8 playing XI, best of luck team 🏏✌️

So far of the session Hobart Champions League, the first game against Yeti washed out, also the second game against Punjabi Super Strikers.

Boys were keen for a win which eventually came in the third round against Moonlight won by 90 runs, Man of the game Imtiaz Ahmed. Round 5 and 6 lost against KLM and Expert respectively. However, still plenty of games to play and there is always way to come back. Boys are ready for the challenge.

Winning or losing is part of the game, Joy Bangla CC believes in every player and appreciates their ability by giving Man of the match award in every game.

5th game: Rashid

What a day boys, our first win 🥇 this session in Hobart Champions League against Ceylon Strikers. A day to remember everyone, as a team we won our first match. There is no such thing to complain about, we were excellent on our batting, especially the way Reza (C) and Shubham started the innings, Bhai held the innings and gave us a competitive total to fight on. As a fielding unit, we gave 110% that’s precisely what we wanted.

Finding the right spot to bowl when we were defending a low total like 135 runs, is all about setting an example of how we should hit the right place. Which was amazingly done , , and Surinder Singh. Special thanks to you guys.

The most vital players and hidden talents for the club this year Toriqul Pritom, Nirjhor Mahfuj and Joy had done the finishing job to take their team home.

Cheer this day everyone and please keep that in mind, it’s just the beginning there is still a long way to go, so keep working hard until we reach our goal.
