Since forming in 1986 the Club has always prided itself on and has maintained its relaxed and informal atmosphere, whether its taking part in a water sport, attending any of the Club's social activities or just enjoying the ocean views from the Club's verandah or the back of your boat. Hillarys Yacht Club function rooms are also available to hire for members and the general public. Located on the northern side of Hillarys Marina, Hillarys Yacht Club is only 15 minutes from the CBD and 10 minutes from the City of Joondalup. The calm waters of the Indian Ocean provide great views and an ideal setting for your coming event and in addition, the Club provides secure on-site parking, versatile rooms and flexibility to make your next event a success.

Hillarys Yacht Club is hosting a FREE Tackers Sailing Experience and you’re invited!

Event Details
When: Saturday, 12th September
Where: Hillarys Boat Harbour (near the footbridge)
Who: Kids aged 7 to 12
Cost: 100% FREE!

No experience? No problem! You don't need to be a club member or have ever set foot on a boat before. Qualified instructors and friendly assistants will be right there in the safe, calm waters to guide you step-by-step.

⛵ Winter Series Race 7 – Racing Against the Light Winds!

Winter Series Race 7 hit the water as the spare replacement for Race 2, which was previously cancelled due to severe weather. This time, competitors faced the opposite challenge – very light winds!

With 14 boats taking to the water, the Race Committee made the excellent call to run a shortened Course J2, allowing the lead boat to finish in just over 98 minutes.

🌬️ Starting conditions: 4 knots at 90°
🌊 Waves: 0.2m
