🎧RECOMMENDED HEALTH & FITNESS PODCASTS!🎧
Over the past year, I've really focused on upskilling and learning more about the industry I'm in to make myself a better trainer. Whether a coach, trainee, or just generally into health or fitness, tuning in to these podcasts can help turn your commute or free time into further education!
My favorites are:
1. MIND PUMP-
-Adam, Sal, Justin, and Doug run this one. Episodes are half entertainment/current events and half fitness/health Q&A. This makes for a great blend and education and entertainment! They cover points applicable to both coaches and gym users.
2. JOE DEFRANCO'S INDUSTRIAL STRENGTH SHOW-
-Joe is a legend in the Sports Performance industry and has a wealth of knowledge that he delves into in incredible detail. Podcasts can include covering athletic performance, joint health, posture, and even specific workout ideas and new exercises. Very active on social and I use many of his teachings and exercises daily for myself and my clients. Suited more to athletes, older populations, and strength athletes, but some episodes apply to general population too!
3. THE JOE ROGAN EXPERIENCE-
-A newer one that I have started listening to but is incredibly popular! Joe interviews experts in different fields and has an awesome energy. Great to mix it up if you're interested in learning about different fields/topics. Check out his interview with Elon Musk!
4. THE TONY ROBBINS PODCAST-
-Great for emotional, personal, and business development. Podcasts are diverse and incredibly powerful. Highly recommend.
5. RENEGADE RADIO WITH JAY FERRUGGIA-
-A newer one to my playlist that I haven't gotten into just yet but have many episodes downloaded and ready to go!
6. FOUNDMYFITNESS-
-Rhonda covers in depth research onto health phenomena and I'm particularly interested in her studies into the benefits of sauna use. Added to the playlist only a couple days ago!
