This fella was only new to the club last season, but quickly showed that he has what it takes to captain, both on and off the field.

Next captain to be announced is our 3rd XI captain. No stranger to a facebook post, but a new comer to the third XI.
He selflessly offered his services to our side last year to assist the younger players aging out of juniors and those keen to get their first taste of senior cricket.

SENIOR HEAD COACH ANNOUNCEMENT
High Wycombe Cricket Club is proud to announce the appointment of Peter Snell as Senior Head Coach.
A true club legend, Peter's history with High Wycombe spans decades. A former 1st Grade captain, Peter enjoyed a highly successful playing career during the early 2000s, earning numerous club accolades and establishing himself as one of the club's most respected figures.
Following his playing days, Peter continued to give back to the club as a junior coach, helping develop the next generation of cricketers.
After spending some time away from the game as a spectator, Peter now returns to take on this important leadership role as the club continues to grow and evolve.
Peter brings a wealth of cricket knowledge, a deep understanding of the club's culture, and a genuine passion for seeing High Wycombe succeed both on and off the field.
Please join us in giving a very warm welcome to a proud clubman, club legend, and all-round ripper bloke.

Well, that didn't last long.

After a large number of quality applications, we have decided to close the advert early.

We thank all those that applied, and appreciate the overwhelming support we have received to take our great club into our next phase.

We're looking for a passionate and driven leader to help guide our senior program, develop players across all grades and build on the strong culture that makes HWCC such a great club.

Competing in the WASTCA competition with a 1st Grade side, alongside multiple other senior teams, this is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact both on and off the field.

A competitive remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful applicant.

🏏 JUNIOR REGISTRATIONS OPENING EARLY JULY 2026 🏏

At High Wycombe Cricket Club, our commitment to junior cricket has never been stronger.

As we prepare for the 2026/27 season, we're excited to announce the formation of a dedicated Junior Sub-Committee that will focus on growing and enhancing our junior program both on and off the field.

Leading the committee will be:

🔹 Kim Clark – Junior Delegate
🔹 Jamie Nuttall – Junior Coaching Coordinator
🔹 Dave Baron – Club President & Junior Registrar

Supporting the committee will be:

This group has been established to ensure our junior players and families receive the attention, support and opportunities they deserve. Their focus will include player development, coaching support, family engagement, communication, recruitment, retention and creating the best possible cricket experience for every junior cricketer at our club.

Junior cricket is the foundation of High Wycombe Cricket Club. We are committed to providing a fun, safe and inclusive environment where players of all ages and abilities can learn, develop their skills, build friendships and enjoy the game of cricket.
