Hi Faye,Thank you for attending QiGong class. It was such a pleasure to train with you again.
I wanted to share something I noticed today. By the end of the session, you looked much more relaxed and at ease. Your face seemed brighter, your body looked more comfortable, and you carried yourself with a lovely sense of calm. It was wonderful to see that positive change.
Thank you for your commitment to your wellbeing. Every movement is another step towards better health, greater balance, and a calmer mind. I hope you'll continue practising some of the breathing and movements at home, even for just a few minutes each day.
See you on our next training session.

Yang Sheng (养生) - the Art of Nourishing Body and Life

🌿 Have you ever felt there is more to wellbeing than simply exercising the body?

For thousands of years, Chinese wisdom has taught that true health begins with harmony—between the body, the breath, the mind, and the natural world.

Through QiGong, Tai Chi, the timeless wisdom of the I Ching (Book of Changes), and the philosophy of Yang Sheng (Nourishing Life), we explore practical ways to cultivate inner peace, resilience, and a more balanced life.

These traditions are not about religion or belief. They are gentle, mindful practices that invite us to slow down, breathe deeply, reconnect with ourselves, and live in greater harmony with the rhythms of nature.
Whether you're beginning your spiritual journey or looking to deepen an existing mindfulness practice, you are warmly welcome.

Life After Cancer Treatment: Learning to Nurture Yourself Again

I was quite surprised to discover how few communities exist for people navigating life after cancer treatment.

Many people don’t realise that life after cancer is not simply about “going back to normal”. The body has been through an incredible journey, and many things can change — your taste, your vision, your hearing, your breathing, your energy levels, your sleep, and even the way your heart feels.

Whether you have experienced chemotherapy, surgery, radiation, or other treatments, your body deserves patience, care, and support. The journey of rebuilding your strength can begin at any time — it is never too late to start nurturing yourself.

For some people, returning to the gym may feel overwhelming. Long walks may not bring back the strength you are looking for. Swimming may feel like too much effort — especially after months of medications, procedures, injections, IV treatments, countless tablets, sleepless nights, changes in appetite, and emotional challenges.

This is where gentle QiGong can become a beautiful part of your healing journey.

QiGong uses slow movements, breathing techniques, and mindfulness to help reconnect the body and mind. It is gentle, adaptable, and suitable for people at different stages of recovery.

There are many QiGong resources available online, or if you are looking for local guidance, feel free to reach out and ask about available QiGong sessions.

Remember — the greatest investment you can make is an investment in your own health, wellbeing, and quality of life.
