What a fantastic morning at our Breakfast in the Park! ☀️🥓

A big thank you to everyone who helped organise and run the event — it doesn’t happen without you. And an extra special shout out to our president, Ian, for all the work behind the scenes to make it such a success.

Back in 1995, when David Sheedy started training with High Wycombe Amateur Football Club, Linda always joked:
💬 “When I organise to go dancing, we’re going dancing.”

🕺💃 Twenty‑seven years later, Linda finally organised it and now they are proud members of the Happy Wanderers Square Dancing Club.

Every year, the club raises money through raffles and donations to support local causes. Last year, they chose to support our All‑Abilities football side, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

🙏 Thank you to President Ian Pendlebury and Caller Kevin Kelly for coming down to present the donation to our President, Robbie Rowlands.

🎤 Remembering Ken Pike – Kenny Pike The Man with the Mic 🎤

We’re sad to share that our good friend and long-time guest caller, Ken Pike, has passed away.

Ken – known to many as “Kenny Pike the man with the mic” – was a regular and much-loved part of our club nights. He always brought a great energy to the floor and made everyone feel at home, whether he was calling a bracket or just catching up with friends.

He’ll be missed by all of us at Happy Wanderers. Our thoughts are with Marion, his family and friends.

Thanks for everything, Ken. It won’t be the same without you.
