Heywood Hoops is back!

Mondays from 4.30pm to 5.30pm

We are still looking for more kids to come and join, please dont let this opportunity fade for kids in our community. We are also looking for people with basketball skills and knowledge to help assist or run sessions

Skills focus for all primary school aged kids

We unfortunately were unable to get a competition together for older primary age kids due to low numbers so have decided to hold skill sessions for all. These sessions will involve a variety of skills to develop basketball play, understanding of rules, fitness and of course plenty of fun.

Our hope is to be able to work towards playing games with the kids spilt into appropriate age groups. If we get enough older kids turning up we will look at extending the time into the next hour and hold games for them.

These sessions are for all primary age kids new to basketball or wanting to develop their skills further or just any kid who wants to have fun with their mates.

We have not given up on holding competition basketball in Heywood and will look to doing so again at the end of the year. But we need the numbers and this is a great way to get kids ready for game play.

If you have any questions, please dont hesitate to reach out. Cass will happily answer any questions.

As with any local sport we always need volunteers, so if you can help out in anyway it would be much appreciated.

Heywood Hoops is back! 🏀

Starting this coming, Monday 20th April from 4.30pm to 5.30pm
