🏀🔥 GRAND FINALS DAY – THIS SUNDAY! 🔥🏀

We’re excited to welcome some fantastic local businesses to Bendigo Bank Stadium to help make Grand Finals Day one to remember!

☕ The Caffeine Fix Mobile Cafes will be serving up your favourite coffees from 9:30am.

🍓 ogacaishack will be on site from 2:00pm with their delicious açaí bowls and refreshing treats.

🍔 ’s Burger Joint will be keeping everyone fuelled with tasty burgers, hot food and game-day favourites throughout the day.

🥤 Our Drinks & Snack Canteen will be open all day and proudly run by our Hervey Bay Hurricanes Representative Teams, so every purchase helps support our rep program and players.

🪑 We’ve also arranged extra seating so everyone can enjoy the action comfortably.

🏀 U12 Boys Rep Carnival Wrap-Up 🏀

A huge congratulations to our U12 Boys on completing their very first representative carnival away in Bundaberg this weekend!

For many of these young athletes, this was their first experience representing Hervey Bay Basketball away from home, and they did our association proud. From the opening tip-off to the final buzzer, the boys showed great sportsmanship, determination, teamwork, and resilience while competing against strong opposition.

These weekends are about so much more than basketball. They are about learning, growing, building friendships, creating memories, and gaining valuable experience that will help shape their future both on and off the court.

A big thank you to our dedicated coaches, team manager, families, and supporters who gave up their time to make this weekend possible. Representative basketball simply doesn’t happen without the commitment and support of our amazing volunteers and parents.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to our wonderful sponsors, especially Hervey Bay RSL, for their continued support of our junior representative program. Your support helps create opportunities for our young athletes to compete, develop, and represent our region with pride.

🏀💜 FINALS FEVER IS HERE! 💜🏀

As we enter the start of our finals season, emotions will be high, games will be intense, and every possession will matter.

But while we’re all passionate about basketball, let’s remember that our referees are part of our basketball family too.

Many of our officials are junior referees who are learning, growing their confidence, and giving up their time so our players can enjoy the game we all love.

Mistakes happen. Players make them. Coaches make them. Referees make them too.

This finals series, let’s choose kindness, patience and respect.

🥇Div 1 Boys - CQJBC Champs 💪🏀

A wonderful weekend of basketball for our U14 Hurricanes! With our 14 Boys Div 1 Boys walking away with the shiny Gold medal 🙌

Great work to our U14 Rep Teams at their final CQ tournament this weekend! We are so very proud of our teams and coaches who have trained hard over these last few months. And a special mention to our Team Managers who keep the smiles high, and lolly stash nearby! 😜
