💜2026 All Girls Carnival News💜

Woohoo!! Our 2026 carnival shirts arrived today and we are so excited for next weekends all girls carnival!

And in even more exciting news, today we hit a major carnival milestone! This year we will see over 500 participants attend the carnival over two action packed days!

As we countdown till kick off, there are a few questions still be asked, so we thought we’d answer them in one post!

🏉When will the draw be available? The draw is being finalised as we speak and available by the end of this week on socials and emailed to all clubs!
🏉what’s happening Friday? Join us on the Friday afternoon from 3pm for a FREE EVENT open to the public! BMD Premiership team Wynnum Manly Seagulls will kick start the afternoon with their open captains run finished off with a free NRL development clinic for all ages! Canteen will be open all afternoon and this is a great opportunity to mingle with other players and meet the stars of the BMD PREMIERSHIP TEAM
🏉How can I get a carnival shirt? The shirts will be available for purchase on both Saturday and Sunday! Don’t worry if we sell out, we will be taking orders on the day with delivery expected within 2 weeks!

What a day to be a Seagull! 💚❤️
Today, we had the honour of welcoming back our 1982/83 Grand Final winners to home turf. It was a fantastic opportunity for players, supporters, and the wider community to connect with those who helped build the proud history of our club.
Throughout the afternoon, they shared stories, memories, and plenty of laughs while enjoying the senior games and catching up with old teammates and friends. Their passion for the club remains as strong as ever and was a reminder of the legacy that continues to inspire our players today.
A huge thank you to our 82/83 legends for spending the day with us. It was a privilege to celebrate your achievements and the rich history of our club.

What a game! 🏉
The A Grade men took on the Wallaroos on home turf in a hard-fought battle that kept spectators on the edge of their seats. In a fiercely contested game, the Seagulls came away with a well-earned draw after 80 minutes of intense rugby.
The boys kept the Wallaroos on the back foot throughout the game with powerful runs, relentless defense, and bone-rattling tackles. Their determination, teamwork, and never-give-up attitude were on full display as they battled until the final whistle.
A great effort from the entire squad and plenty to build on heading into next week's clash. Up the Seagulls! 🏉

🔥 What a Nail-Biter! 🔥
The Reserve Grade Seagulls left it right down to the final buzzer in a thrilling clash against the Wallaroos, coming away with a hard-fought 18-16 victory.
In a game that had supporters on the edge of their seats, both teams went toe-to-toe for the full 80 minutes. The Seagulls showed plenty of grit, determination, and composure under pressure, digging deep when it mattered most.
With the game hanging in the balance until the very last moments, the boys refused to give in, backing each other and fighting for every metre. Their resilience and teamwork proved the difference as they held on to secure an exciting two-point win.
A massive effort from the entire squad and a well-deserved result after a tough battle.
