Four of our athletes, Anneliese, Jimmy, Tim and Lachlan will travel to Runaway Bay for the 2026 Drake Medox Qld State Titles from 25th to 27th of September.
All have been training well at the Fraser Coast Boccia Queensland program and are ready to compete in their respective classifications.

Tomorrow is the return of our Boccia program for term 3. We start at 10am at the PCYC Hervey Bay and finish at midday.
Come on down to see how this all inclusive sport is played. There are always lots of laughs, good sportsmanship and well played sport.
Just ask at reception and they will direct you to us.

Unfortunately it was our last Boccia program day for the second term last Weds 10th June.
Our next program day for term 3 will be Weds 15th July. It seems like a long break but you can always practice at home or keep your fitness level up by doing some sort of exercise. If anyone would like to come and see how the fastest Paralympic sport is played please come on down to PCYC Hervey Bay most Weds from 10am to 12 noon.
It is 2 hours of fun and friendship that is definitely worth turning up for.

Another good day of Boccia for Fraser Coast Boccia Australia at PCYC Hervey Bay. Not a full compliment of players today but those that came enjoyed themselves. We hope Mark feels better very soon after becoming unwell this morning.
We had a lady come and see what Boccia is all about today. Hopefully we will see her back and joining our club. As with anyone who wants to try Boccia, your first 2 days of trying it are free. So if you think you need to try an all ability sport where your level of sporting prowess is not as important as much as enjoying yourself, Boccia is for you. However, if you feel like you want to take it further, then there are pathways to make your transition into elite sport is available.

After Saturday's mini Boccia comp, our program will be on again tomorrow Weds 10th June at PCYC Hervey Bay from 10am until 12 noon.
Looking forward to seeing all the athletes minus Lachlan Kavanagh Boccia BC2M who will be in Adelaide for Boccia.
Make sure you are warm as the venue can be a little cool in winter.

After a rather cool start this morning, some warm friendships developed over our mini boccia comp and come and try day.
As well as our crew from our club, athletes travelled from Brisbane and the GC to attend.
Laughs, smiles, sportsmanship and great boccia was displayed all day.
Many thanks to David Lee MP for attending and Barfly Club for supplying the prizes.
