Hervey Bay Equestrian Centre

Hervey Equestrian Centre had the privilege of accommodating The 5th Light Horse Hervey Bay Troop, who held their Training & Camping weekend on 23/24 August.
They also had guest riders from Woombye and Gympie attending. The Troop worked on desensitising the horses with flags, a drone and pipe band as well as covered rifle and sword drill. Thanks to Raelene Box, they were all fed very well with an abundant amounts of enjoyable food, including refreshments, a beautiful Lunch and a BBQ Dinner. Dinner was a fun night with Ben organising some games and Dennis Chapman winning a beautiful clock in the Raffle. Breakfast was served by Raelene on the Sunday morning and the riders finished the weekend off with a beach ride. The weather was perfect and all had a brilliant time.
As always, It was an absolute pleasure having the the Light Horse Troop attend the Equestrian Centre and they are an incredible bunch of people and volunteer an enormous amount of time to the 5th Light Horse Hervey Bay Troop. Cant wait to see you all back again to do it again next year.

Thank you for all those that applied to agist there horse here at Hervey Bay Equestrian Centre in the last 2 weeks. We have found a lovely lady to agist her horse here and hope she will also be here for many years like the others and enjoying the peace and quiet and enjoying the facilities we have to offer those that agist here.

“AGISTMENT PADDOCK”.
Due to horses being sold, a lovely large agistment paddock will become available in approximately 1 week.
Paddock size is approximately 1 1/2 Acres.
Ideally suitable for someone with 2 horses but happy for anyone just wanting to bring the 1 horse.

The paddock is alongside a gelding and would have other horses around it as well. Other agistment lady owners currently Agisting at these premises.

The paddock has the following:
2 x Shelters
1 x Auto Water Trough
Fencing also has a strand of electrical tape (you will be required to provide your own energiser)

Agistment Price Includes unlimited use of:

60x20 Undercover Sand Arena (lights for night riding)
Round Yard
Toilets
Kitchen
Double Warm Wash Bay
Trotting Poles
Cavaletti’s
Safe grass areas to ride
Stable to store feed and tack in etc
