This Sunday, we're celebrating International Day of Yoga with a special 90-minute Yoga & Breathe practice led by Jocelyn. 🀍

A journey through body, breath, and mind, weaving together mindful movement, pranayama, mantra, and Yoga Nidra. This holistic practice invites you to reconnect, restore, and experience the deeper essence of yoga.

✨ Move with awareness.
✨ Breathe with intention.
✨ Rest in stillness.

Bring your mat, your breath, and exactly as much energy as you have to give. We look forward to sharing this special practice with you.

"It ain't weak to speak." Never has been, never will be. πŸ’₯

A lot of guys are carrying more than they let on…. work's busy, life gets full. You tell yourself you'll be right… until one day, you're not.

Brad shares his story, and it's one worth listening to. πŸ‘‚

He talks about losing friends, battling his own thoughts, and why dragging himself into the gym on the days he least feels like it almost always leaves him feeling better walking out.

And not because exercise fixes everything, but because movement helps, routine helps, and being around good people helps. 🀍

Plus sometimes having someone waiting for you to train or a community that truly supports you is enough to get you through the front door.

Thank you Brad for sharing your story.

For a long time, many men have been taught to keep it in, push through, and carry the load on their own.

But some of life's toughest moments become a little lighter when they're shared. 🀝

As Chris explains, having somewhere to move your body, see familiar faces, have a chat, or simply get out of the house can make a bigger difference than most people realise. For some, it might be the only social interaction they have all day. πŸ‘πŸš™πŸ‘Ÿ

Men's Health Week is a reminder that looking after yourself isn't just about physical strength. It's about making time for your health, your headspace, and the people around you too.

If you know someone who could use a nudge, check in on them. Invite them for a coffee, a walk, or a workout. πŸ’š

Sometimes the conversation starts long before the words do.

A lot of friendships have been built around this place over the years. β˜•πŸ‹

Some started in a class.
Some over a coffee.
Some with a simple "how's your week been?"

As Men's Health Week begins, it's a good reminder that looking after yourself isn't always about exercise.

Sometimes it's about having somewhere to go.
Somewhere you're known.
Somewhere people notice when you walk in.

The 5kg thinking they're part of the session πŸ˜‚

10/06/2026

Most men don't need another lecture about health. 🀦 They already know they should move more, sleep more, and stress less.

What they often need is a place to start.

πŸ‹οΈ A place to train.
🧠 A place to clear the head after a big day.
πŸ—£οΈ A place to catch up with a mate.
πŸ’― A place where nobody cares if you're a beginner, returning after years away, or trying again for the tenth time.

That's what this week is about. For Men's Health Week, male casual visits train FREE at Mako's from June 15–20.

Bring a friend, your dad, your son, or just bring yourself.

Tired? Book it.

Overwhelmed? Book it.

Need an hour to yourself? Book it.

Need a workout? Book it.

Need something for the kids to do? Book it.

Because sometimes the best thing you can do for everyone else... is take a little time for yourself.

Not every instructor is the right fit for every person, and that's a good thing. πŸ’™

Some people love energy and laughs. Others prefer calm encouragement. Some want a challenge. Others want support and confidence.

That's why having a variety of instructors matters.

Wilma and Kellie are currently training to become Aqua Instructors, each bringing their own experiences, personality and strengths to the pool.

More choice. More support. More ways to find your people.

Give the girls some encouragement when you see them pool side. πŸ‘
