🌸 Some days the stress just builds and builds… until it all spills over...
It’s never just one thing — it’s everything at once. The kids, the emotions, the mental load, the bills, your own health sitting at the bottom of the list. You keep pushing through, holding it together, telling yourself you’ll be okay, telling everyone else your ok… until suddenly you’re not.
And when it all comes out, it can feel like you’re falling apart, that your completely broken — but really, it’s just everything you’ve been carrying finally asking to be seen.
I had one of those moments recently. Completely overwhelmed, totally emotionally drained, wondering how I was going to keep showing up for everyone when I felt so empty myself. I thought, what is the point.
So I did something… I stepped away.
A little getaway with my bestie this weekend — space to breathe, to reset, to just be for a moment without the constant demands. And honestly, it’s exactly what I needed to bring me back. It reminded me that we can’t keep pouring from empty. That sometimes stepping away isn’t selfish — it’s absolutely necessary.
So if you’re feeling like it’s all too much right now, this is your reminder… you’re allowed to pause. Even just a little.
