🦈 RECOMMITTED FOR SEASON 26/27 🦈

Manifold Heights Cricket Club is thrilled to announce that Jake Thomas has recommitted for the 2026/27 season!

After a successful first year at the club, Jake quickly became a valued member of the Sharks both on and off the field. His commitment, enthusiasm and team-first attitude made a huge impact throughout the season.

We're also excited to announce that Jake will be taking on the role of Fielding Coach for the upcoming season. His passion for the game and attention to detail will be a great asset as we continue to develop and improve across all grades.

We can't wait to see Jake back in the blue and white this season and look forward to the positive influence he'll have both as a player and coach.

Awesome news for our Women's team with Sam Williamson recommitting for Season 2026/27!

Sam had an outstanding first season in Sharks colours, taking the competition by storm and being rewarded with Championship Player of the Year honours, while also claiming the club's prestigious Brooke Gorman Medal.

A genuine all-round star, Sam's ability to score runs, take wickets, and lead from the front made a huge impact throughout the season. We can't wait to see her back out there doing what she does best and helping drive the team forward again this year.

We're super excited to have you back for another season, Sam. Here's to plenty more runs, wickets, and success in 2026/27! 🏏💪

The Manifold Heights Cricket Club is excited to announce that Andy Percy — “Mr Consistent” — is set to return for Season 26/27!

Percy continues to be a valuable player, teammate, and all-round club person. Reliable with both bat and ball, his consistency and commitment make him a huge asset both on and off the field.

We’re thrilled to have Percy back in the blue and white for another season and can’t wait to see what he brings in 26/27! 💙🏏

The Manifold Heights Cricket Club is excited to announce Mitch Bartlett has recommitted for the upcoming 26/27 season! 🏏

Mitch had a fantastic season with both bat and ball, proving to be an important contributor throughout the year. After a strong campaign, he’s eager to build on that form and take things one step further next season.

We can’t wait to see what Mitch delivers in 26/27! 💪🔥

After starting the 25/26 season in strong form before it was unfortunately cut short due to injury, Josh “Riggsy” Riggs is back and recommitted for the season ahead! 💪🏏

A quality player who we can’t wait to see back out in the middle doing what he does best.

Some good news from the shark cage… we are excited to let you know Matt Pratt has recommitted for season 2026/2027. After 2 strong seasons for the club finishing high in the league vote counts and our 25/26 DeGoldi medallist we are excited to see what levels he can get to for the coming season. Hey Sharks,

Thanks to all those who came along to today’s AGM! We welcome all the new committee on board and thank all members stepping down for their hard work!

As Adam has decided to step down from Secretary it means we do have a vacant position for the Secretary role for the upcoming 2026/27 season.
Clubs are run off the back of volunteers and we would love for someone new or old to step up and take over! If this is a role you have considered or would consider taking on please contact Andrew Quin on 0419 137 643.

We are also seeking an expression of interest for the following:
