The club is conducting a Category A and B Firearm Safety course in conjunction with the registered training organisation below on 31st May 2026.

The course is one of the requirements for anyone applying for a firearm licence in Queensland.

Please note that as Sunday 29th March is the 5th Sunday of the month, the range will be closed to rifle shooting.

The next club shoot open to everyone will be Sunday 5th April at the usual start time (i.e., arrive at 8:30am for a 9am start).

A reminder that the shoot scheduled for 8th February is for Club Members only.

This is also the date for the club's 2026 Annual General Meeting.

The club shoot will commence immediately following the conclusion of the AGM.

A busy day for the first open shoot of the 2026 calendar year with 18 members and visitors participating across a range of disciplines in warm but generally good weather conditions.

The first Member's Only shoot is scheduled for next Sunday (11th January) at the usual start time (i.e., arrive at 8:30am for a 9am start).

The next open shoot for the year is scheduled for Sunday 18th January. All welcome.

Wishing everyone a safe and happy festive season and a successful new year in 2026.

A reminder that the club's Christmas shoot and Celebration is scheduled for next Sunday 14th December.

The shoot is for members and their immediate family only and followed by a light Christmas lunch. Attendees are requested to bring a plate of food to share and BYO drinks.

This will also be the final shoot for the year with the club taking a short recess over the festive season.

The first open club shoot for 2026 is scheduled for Sunday 4th January.

Sunday 23rd November due to the TPC ISSF Open Competition and again on Sunday 30th November - 5th Sunday of the month.

We have recently received notification that the Helidon range will be closed to rifle shooting on three Sundays in November as follows:

Sunday 2nd November - TPC Action Pistol Competition
Sunday 23rd November - TPC ISSF Open Competition
Sunday 30th November - 5th Sunday of the month.

Following the 2 week break in late November an open club shoot is scheduled for Sunday 7th December while the club's Members' Only Christmas shoot and celebration will take place on Sunday 14th December.
