🏃‍♂️ What a Finish to an Incredible Season! 🏃‍♀️

And that’s a wrap! We celebrated the end of our athletics season with a fantastic Presentation Day, and our hearts (and trophy cabinets) are full.

It was wonderful to see so many of our athletes and their families come together one last time. Looking back on the season, we are so proud of everything this "great little club" has accomplished. From the very first event to the final finish line, we’ve witnessed:

✨ Countless Personal Bests: Seeing that joy when a runner beats their own time is what it’s all about!

🏆 Amazing Achievements: Huge milestones reached.

🤝 Pure Sportsmanship: The way our athletes cheer for one another makes this club truly special.

It’s time to trade the singlets and crops for some party gear! We are so excited to invite all our players, families, supporters and sponsors to our Annual Presentation Day this Sunday.

Let's get together to celebrate the hard work, the big wins, and the great memories made on and off the track and field this season.

As the dust settles on the track (and the sand stays firmly in our newly topped-up pits), it’s time to give one final, massive shout-out to the businesses that fuelled our success this year.

Today, we pause to remember and honour the courage, sacrifice, and spirit of all those who have served and continue to serve.

We were proud to lay this wreath at the dawn service, representing our little athletics community and the values we strive to uphold — respect, resilience, and mateship.

THE FINISH LINE IS IN SIGHT! 🏁 (And we need a few more runners...)

Tomorrow night is the big one! We’re heading to Tradies Helensburgh for our AGM, and the future of Helensburgh Little Athletics is on the agenda.

The Goal: We need new members to join our committee to ensure the 2026/27 season can go ahead.

The Vibe: No boring 3-hour meetings. No athletics exams. Just a group of local parents at the club, making sure our kids have a place to run, jump, and throw next season.

Why show up?

✅ To keep Little As alive in the Burgh.

✅ To have a say in how the club is run.

✅ To meet a great group of locals over a drink.

If you’ve been thinking "someone else will do it," this is us gently tapping you on the shoulder! Whether you can give 1 hour a month or 5, we need you.
