Statement from the club regarding todays AGM.
With a heavy heart those who attended todays AGM have come to the conclusion and decision that the club being in the position it is in at the current moment in time we will not be forming a new committee and preparing for a season 2023/24.
Today we had no one putting there hand up to take over the role as president to form a new committee and only a handful of people committing to stay on the committee if it could be lead by someone who has time to take on the role as president. We have had large number of players who wont be returning to the club next season across all teams and today agreeing it isn't financially viable to run a club with potentially one team.
After 60+ years and a proud history this is a tough decision for those directly involved but with the lack of players and support from members we have had no option going forward.
We ask if anyone wants to or is interested in taking on the club or has a group of players looking for a place to play please contact Calvin Robinson or us directly through our facebook or Instagram pages.
Hopefully this is only a small bump in the road and we have some more positive news to come in the coming months.
Until then we'd like to thank everyone who helped keep this great club going over the years of struggles in the past and over the last season through trying times.
