Making embodied Connections I've become a teacher to bring the liberty of embodied self-expression to those who are yet to enjoy it for themselves.

Cultivating awareness of the relationship between the mind and body is crucial to living a wholehearted and rich life. Too often we rely heavily on the mind to guide us but when we learn to allow the intuitive body to lead with a mindful guidance, we find greater power in being ourselves, being creative and making transformative magic from that place. I've been thinking about legacy: what gets left behind and what we leave behind.

I believe that in every moment we have a choice; to leave something beautiful behind, or to pass something beautiful on, that could touch another person, or make a difference in their lives. It could be as simple as a smile, or an old love letter from your father to your mother, a conversation at the market where a stranger advises you to shop around with the banks…

Little pieces of everyday interactions, or big gestures that are gifts for generations to come: All these choices leave a footprint and a legacy, which shape the world we live in.

We can make a contribution in each moment. We can choose to be kind. We can choose to want to foster community. We can choose to make love our priority – make love our intention.

What do you choose to do today? For yourself or for someone else in your community. Is it an act of kindness or love? (I like these gestures best)
