Another transformation done.

I was absolutely blown away by the dedication and commitment from every participant to improving their overall health through changing daily habits.

📆It’s not about having more discipline, it’s about creating better structure.
🍝And it definitely isn’t about eliminating food groups, it’s about discovering what true balance looks like.

These ladies didn’t just learn, they applied it. And as they move beyond this transformation, I’m so excited to see what they achieve next.

I couldn’t be prouder of you all.

Today this amazing group of 14 women, 2 kids, and 2 dogs rode/ran to Axedale simply to challenge themselves.

After attending the Anzac service this morning, many of us carried the themes of mateship, resilience, courage, and sacrifice with us. Not as comparison, but as a quiet reminder of what truly matters.

It gave us time to reflect on how fortunate we are, and the sacrifices that have been made to allow us the freedom to do something like this.

The magic of a gym community isn’t just about getting fitter, it’s about having people who show up for you, believe in you, and stand beside you.

So incredibly proud of this team today for stepping out of their comfort zones and supporting one another.

On a day of reflection, I’m especially grateful for this community 🩷

Proximity is power 💪

The transition of us two over the last 12 months:

Start of 2025:
I was a big advocate for strength and all its benefits- minimum required cardio fitness was completed 😂
Tess came in loving running but lifting weights was “not her happy place”

Start of 2026:
🏋️Tess is lifting twice a week
🏃‍♀️ I’ve organised a 10km run for this morning
😅We’ve signed up for a fun run together next month (with a bunch of others if anyone is keen to join as at Run The Rock)

No lectures.
No forcing.
Just environment.

Choose your circle wisely.
It doesn’t mean you won’t be successful if all your people don’t support your choices BUT it makes it a lot easier and more enjoyable if they do- Nicky 🩷

📣If you are coming to the gym 3, 4 or even 5 days a week and not noticing your strength, muscle mass or fitness increase then today’s video is for you.

Showing up consistently to the gym isn’t enough to get the results you are after.
You need:
-A structured plan
-To master the basics
-Be consistent
-Not get distracted by all the weird and wacky exercises on social media
-Stick with the same program for atleast 4-6 weeks.

In 2026 we aren’t winging our training, we are making our time in the gym count 😝

Heathcote parkrun is almost here & we need you 💙

Heathcote already has an amazing, supportive fitness community. Now we’re taking the final steps to bring Parkrun to town: a free, weekly event about movement, connection and community (not just running).

To make it happen, we’re calling for volunteers.

Volunteering at parkrun isn’t about doing more- it’s about sharing the load. With enough volunteers, roles are short, flexible, and no one carries it all. You can still run, walk, train, or cheer others on.

You’re welcome whether you:
• already give back through the gym
• are curious about parkrun
• are brand new
• or already love the parkrun vibe

You don’t need to be a runner. You don’t need to commit every week. Just a willingness to be part of something that brings people together and makes Heathcote even healthier and more connected.
