¿Puedes creer que este excorredor de Maratón corrió el Maratón de Fukuoka🇯🇵 en 1967, con este par de tenis👟👟 y ganó con 2:09:36? Con este tiempo se convirtió en el primer corredor en romper la barrera de 2:10.

Derek Clayton 🇦🇺 es un ex atleta australiano que corrió 22 maratones, de los cuales ganó 14 de ellos.
El resto, son palabras.

Diane Friedman, 103-year-old runner!🏃🏻‍♀️

Diane started running at 70 years old!

Her friends made fun of her, telling her that she was too old to play sports!

But since Diane didn't pay attention to them, she continued training until she broke a few world records in the Senior Olympic Games in the 100-104-year-old age group!

100 meters - 36.71 seconds👏
200 meters - 1 minute and 29.78 seconds👏

Sue McDonald entered a new age bracket in 2023 and set nine world records.

Averaging 6min/km, Tony Kean set a new age group course record in the ASICS Half Marathon for the male 85-89 category. His time of 2:06:46 was more than 30 minutes faster than the previous age group course record, which had stood since 1992.

Jenny Hitchings cannot be stopped! 🤯

This past weekend at the Chicago Marathon, rabbitELITE Jenny Hitchings clocked a blazing 2:49:43 marathon, setting the WORLD MARATHON RECORD in the 60-64 age group. Her half marathon split of 1:23:39 is also the new age group American record!

Talk about inspiration for all ages. We are so proud of you, Jenny!

Averaging 3:27 pace per km, Steve Moneghetti's time of 1:13:05 set a new M60-64 age group course record in the ASICS Half Marathon. Talk about a tough age group! Steve also still holds the M30-34 age group record from 1993, with a time of 1:01:48.
As well as the half marathon records, Moneghetti currently holds two age group records in the Southern Cross University 10km Run (M50-54 in a time of 32:58, equal with David Sweeney, and M55-59 in a time of 33:03).

🇰🇪's Kelvin Kiptum destroys the marathon world record* at the
Bank of America Chicago Marathon with 2:00:35 😵

He becomes the first man in history to break 2:01.
