More often than not, we have everything we need to begin. Truth is, we’re really just procrastinating getting started! 😏

Saying things like, “I’ll get started when the gyms reopen” won’t change your tomorrow, but getting out and getting active today, certainly will!

Since starting our transformation together this year and I have spent more time training from home with absolutely no equipment than we have in the gym! 🏋🏼‍♂️

As Dewi said, “If I had of just waited I guess I would… well, still be waiting haha! But gym or no gym we got started and now look at me! I’m already 6 kilo’s down and every single day I feel better for it!”

I think when it comes to nutrition most people over complicate it.

Nutrition isn’t rocket science, and yet far too many people try to make it that! 🚀🤓 

They’re hell bent on counting calories, weighing just about everything, and stressing over the perfect macro splits! But the reality is that over complicating it just makes it harder & harder to adhear and stick to... And a nutrition plan that you’re NOT following is about as useless as a concrete parachute! 🪂😂

As has just learnt in her first program, REAL nutrition doesn’t need to be that hard! And because it’s not, it’s EASY to stick with! 👌🏽

Earlier this week we spoke about the importance of investing in yourself and I can’t think of a better example than himself!

As a busy man, father & CEO who makes hundreds of crucial decisions every day, Ray knows that looking after, and investing in his health and fitness is absolutely vital to maintaining his physical & mental edge!

Don’t hate the salad hate the chef! We’ve all got the same ingredients, it’s how you put them together that makes it count! Take the SRPT Squat Challenge for example, fundamentally it’s not a complicated workout, but it’s the environment you create & how we’ve put it together that makes aaaaaall the difference! 😉

On that note! Big shoutout to everyone absolutely KILLING it in the SRPT 12wk Challenge at the moment! I honestly couldn’t be prouder of you guys! Gym or no gym, lockdown or no lockdown, rain, hail or shine absolutely nothing has stopped us!! 💪🏽🔥

When you think of it, exercise is kinda like a retirement fund…

When you’re young, you don’t really think about it all that much. You grow up, get a job, live pretty comfortably and money just trickles into your super. Every day you work, a little more goes in there, and every day you don’t, it doesn’t. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Funnily enough the same logic applies in the gym.

Everyday I see people come in and train. Every day they do, they move a little better, a little faster, a little stronger. Every day they don’t… Well… they don’t!

When you’re young, it’s all fun and games!

But as time goes on it’s interesting to see the difference between the ones that’ve trained hard & chosen to invest in themselves, verses the ones that haven’t...

This weekend I spoke about “making the most of what you’ve got,” a concept, skill and attitude that we teach here at SRPT that I think has adopted remarkably well through our time together.

I mean, let’s face it, getting consistent results in back to back programs certainly speaks for itself 🥳 But if you swipe to the side you’ll soon see why.

Losing weight is great, but not as great as getting off your heart meds…

Lifting weights is cool, but not as cool as being able to pick up your foster kids…

Hitting the gym is awesome, but not as awesome as taking your kids on cool adventures to teach them about the great outdoors…

More often than not what you can do or lift in the gym is irrelevant. It’s about what that ENABLES you do.
