The feedback on the new program structure is in and it is looking GOOD.

The verdict:
✓ Full Body everyday
✓ Better focus for each session
✓ More recovered by the end of the week
✓ Same good Grouse vibes

We’re stuck into Feb already and the studio is PUMPING. Let’s keep the momentum going. 💪

Getting strong really is simple (even if the programming is a bit hard to balance sometimes).

Do the same thing, repeatedly, and push the boundaries a bit each time.

I think I took this question a bit too serious 😂 but there is something to be said about the goal being getting a workout when you can — not just the same time each day.

I know, schedules change and sometimes there really is only one time in the day to get something in, but if you end up missing you planned session, opt for a walk, a light run, or even a 15 minute timer for some bodyweight movement. The goal isn’t about “working out”, it’s getting in some extra movement the day 💪

Gyms most of the time saying something along the lines of “shred/weight loss/tone/summer body” and I’ve purposely tried as hard as I can to avoid using any of this terminology in the last 3 years.

Fitness is just part of our personal ‘health spheres’, and Grouse is just like any other place you visit — somewhere you want to go, not have to. Workout with a mate, make some new friends, and enjoy the process ✌️

Training doesn’t make you tired. Living in go-mode 24/7 does.

Work. Scroll. Squeeze in a session. Crash. Repeat. That cycle feels normal, but it’s not recovery.

Recovery is offline. It’s intentional. And it’s what keeps you going.

Go to bed earlier.
Move slower.
Breathe deeper.
Put the phone down for a bit.

Reset yourself — not just physically, but mentally too.

We go out of our way to make sure our pets are well fed, well rested, and get enough movement.

But when it comes to ourselves, we skip meals, ignore tiredness, and act like burnout is normal.

You’re not built differently.
You need the same basics: move often, eat properly, get good sleep.

Simple doesn’t mean easy — but it does work.
