Stan Bowd has been handcrafting saddles since 1995.

He now specialises in ASHLA & Traditional Stock, Fender Stock and Half-Breed Saddles, however he can also make and repair all kinds of other saddles. Stan is able to customise all his saddles to suit the individual horse and rider. He hand picks the materials that go into each saddle, ensuring that only the best products are used. Stan's saddles are becoming very popular with polocrosse players & campdrafters and competitors in Stock horse and ASHLA classes. Stan can also repair just about anything made from leather. He can make made-to-measure bridles, belts, dog collars, breastplates, and just about anything else you can think of! If you need a new saddle, or would like to restore an old favourite then Stan is your man!

Update - halfbreed saddle has sold.

We currently have TWO saddles made by Stan in to be sold second hand.

🐴 SOLD - One is a 12” half breed fender on a semi-quarter horse tree. Tidy little saddle that would suit youth or petite adult. Fully mounted.

🐴 STILL AVAILABLE - The other is a 15.5” traditional stock saddle with fenders and would suit a heritage style stock horse. Ideal for polocrosse, campdrafting or will clean up as a show saddle. Does not include a girth.

Brand new shaped leather show girth. Approximately 33 inches long. Hand made by Stan.

Will be sold with buckle guards as well so would suit ASHLA.

Virtually the same as the one photographed, however can come with or without the turn back strap to suit your saddle.
